Red Roof Inn Milwaukee Airport

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Nice affordable hotel close to the airport, and they'll keep your vehicle for no extra charge while you're traveling. No free shuttle service, so use Uber!

Broken heating unit. Torn curtains. Unusable television.

Finding hair on the sheets from a previous guest is pretty disgusting, but that's exactly what I found! The least they can do is change the sheets when a guest has completed their stay. I won't be staying at a Red Roof again, that's for sure.

It was easy to find and beds were comfortable would have beter if they had breakfast.. Staff was real pleasent

A fridge in the room would have been nice, but with the low price, it really wasn't a surprise.

Great freeway and airport access without being right next to it~ Friendly and helpful staff at front desk and good cleaning staff~ New restaurants within a few miles. I recommend Water House Brewery and Charcoal Grill near Puetz rd and Howell~

The Inn is very old and all rooms are entered from the outside like a motel not a hotel. Our room had a bunch of confetti on the floor and it was never vacuumed up properly the whole time we were there. The bed was very uncomfortable and the a/c although it worked well, had a broken slat and it needed to be cleaned as there was a lot of build up on the vent. I would not stay in this place again! Also no free breakfast just coffee and there were no computers to be used!

Everything about this visit was just okay, it served it's purpose as a place to sleep for the night. The room was okay, nothing spectacular (king suite). This was our first visit to a Red Roof which we had heard such great reviews about from our friends. After speaking with a gentleman while we were on our way to Milwaukee he had stated we needed a new credit card to hold the room with (my old one had been closed), I gave him my new credit card after confirming three times that I would be able to pay with cash upon arrival at the hotel. He confirmed that I would be able to and we were good to go, or so I thought. Upon arrival I was told that the gentleman had already charged my card and I would not be able to pay cash. He was also no longer working so that I could talk with him. The lady at the front desk (who was wonderful - both of the ladies who were working around check in time were fantastic in handling many problems that arose while we were waiting to check in, I work in the service industry myself and understand the stress of such an environment) explained they would not be able to reverse the charge and I could not pay cash, despite what the gentleman had assured me three times earlier on the phone. Absolutely infuriating. Please have your staff on the same page, I know it isn't the worst thing in the world but to communicate the wrong information can really set the tone for a visit.

Room as expected but needed new sheets. Hotel staff was excellent. They even called me proactively to see if everything was OK. I would stay again, but keep your expectations reasonable.

The room does not come equipped with an iron had to go buy that no hair dryer and the sound proofing does not exist.. If your budget will allow it, stay at a different location,.

There were stains in the room. Dogs barking like crazy in the rooms next to us. No microwave or fridge. Tiny room. No furniture.

This was the worst motel! It was advertised as renovated! We arrived late and only had 5 hours before catching a plane. The person at the front desk was very nice and gave us hand-written directions to the airport. The room was the worst and I will be writing to Red Roof directly. The room smelled of smoke even though there was a sign saying it was a $200 fine for smoking, the bed cover was all wrinkled up, smoke alarm was missing from the bracket, the bathroom door had a large hole (big enough for a shoe) at the bottom and the bathroom door opened up against the toilet which was pushed at an angle. This motel doesn't even deserve a one star. Very disappointed!

Motel was convenient to the airport. Room was clean and staff was friendly and very helpful.

EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND THE EMPLOYEES HELPERFUL AND NICE

I was surprised since it was relatively inexpensive and was the only hotel in this price point with good reviews. Good hotel for the price.

When checking into my room, the staff was on her cellphone and actually told me to wait until she finished her conversation. When finally checking in, she put me and my husband in a room with two small beds even though I showed her my reservation for a king. Her response? No this is what you got. I went in the next morning when someone else was working and she confirmed that I should have been in a better room. They did not apologize or ask if they could refund me in the slightest. I will not stay here again.

Totally great room, staff and nice big bed. Rooms have a small fridge for food. Safe neighborhood.

Very nice room, a garbage can in the bathroom would have been a plus but still a very nice room for the price. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

the hotel room was good ,comfort but not clean.it has a hard wood flooring full in dust. but the location ,the money we paid is good ,near almost every thing I needed. the staff was good.
