Quite far from the train station. We had to take a bus and a subway to get to the train station. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but had a mouldy smell. The staff was very helpful and nice.
Very old hotel that needs to be refurbished as soon as possibile. I spent one night and I couldn't sleep because I had 27°C in my room. No airconditioning available because it's not summer they said. Not acceptable to save money over clients confort. As a silver member I am very disappointed.
It's not close to city center and the nearest metro stop is 15 minutes away. We stayed there because of an event taking place. It is quite an old hotel and I don't see much renovation. The worst is: i saw a cockroach in the bathroom. I understand that they are everywhere, but the hotel didn't have any measure to prevent them in the property?
the hotel is in a very good location. Bang opposite the supermarket. The train station is also only about 10 min walk. i loved the ambiance in the hotel. Good interiors and a rustic charm. The breakfast was good, and the live egg counter guy makes good customized omelettes.
i have been in Milan three times and i stayed in this hotel twice. It is very clear, with soft beds and pillows, big bathrooms and all the supplies that we need ! it is a little far from central milan but is ok.. the metro is very close and in the road from hotel to metro is the best pizza, calzone and pasta i have aet in Milan!!
The Hotel is well served by taxi or metro. The breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful, the rooms are clean I was uncomfortable when I could not be accommodated unless I paid in advance which is very unprecedented.
Very good location, away from tourist crowds but still very close to city center - walking or taking taxi / metro. A little rustic but that gives it real nice atmosphere. The staff is great, especially the guys at concierge desk.
its ok. breakfast is awesome, the waiters are fantastic. but paid internet? really ? i come from the 3rd world ( south africa), my standards are not super high. really ? travel to south east asia a lot and all free everywhere. austria- free everywhere. went to a 3 star hotel in livigno. free. 12 euro for wifi ? are you serious?! also... a bottle of water 3 euros. 50c across the road at the supermarket. same mistake as all hotels with the minibar. make the prices reasonable and i will use it, but instead you want to bank on the drunk and or illiterate to maximise profit . ( no one in their right mind would fall for that ). 5 euro a small can of beer vs 2.79 a sixpack ( for 330ml bottles) literally across the road. anyway... i suppose i am just a peasant.... but at least not a stupid one. you do realise you are robbing yourselves ? anyway otherwise fine, but a 800 meter walk to the metro. some cool restaurants around. beds are very soft. so perfectly acceptable, but could be better with EASE....
Hotel was lovely - very clean and comfortable and the food was really good. Excellent service from all staff and really helpful in offering advice on how to get around the city. You can buy subway tickets from the foyer and the nearest station (Wagner) which is just a short, easy walk from the hotel is only 6 stops from the Duomo di Milano. The only downside was that I had to pay for wifi but this is free if you sign up to the Marriott Rewards system I think - so worth doing if not travelling for business.
Stayed 2 nights, while attending a nearby Partner Conference. Reasonable hotel for the location, with a parking garage underneath (€15 per day). The room was comfortable, although the air-con/heating didn't seem to adjust, and the room was a little too warm. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and a really good shower. No complimentary bottled water, but it wasn't extortionately priced (€2.50 for sparkling). Didn't eat at the hotel, but heard the breakfast was quite reasonable. Bar prices are quite high, but again, that's to be expected. Plenty of reasonable restaurants within walking distance, with some excellent food. All in all, it's a decent hotel.
