Check in at 4 we got there at 4:15 and was told the room wasn’t ready. We were downgraded in the room to get one. We were told breakfast would be comped for the inconvenience but that didn’t happen. The shower head was broken and spaying water everywhere. I’m sure it’s a great place but it didn’t blow us away the first stay. That being said if my son ends up going to university of Miami i would give them another chance. It’s right across the street from campus and probably the nicest place around.

I loved the location of this hotel and the room was clean and of high standard. The service of room did not meet my expectations as it was done Kate and it was difficult getting towels when I called r Housekeeping. I had to call multiple times before they brought them up the next morning and even though the hotel staff may have been busy they weekend, it is unacceptable for a higher end hotel.

My room was not as advertised, was not givin a late check out even though I paid for Thursday night and didn’t check in until Friday morning. The elevator was broken the whole time and there was a wedding going on no compensation at all for 20 minutes waits at the elevator.

Reserved a king bed but upon check in was informed that they had given all the king rooms away and we were being switched to a double and that there was nothing they could do. Additionally, there was no ironing machine in the room so we requested one to be brought up, unknowingly to me the iron they brought had plastic or something burnt onto the surface already and completely burnt/ruined the shirt I was ironing.
