Not sure where to start! I booked this place for the roof top. I was doing work there at 6 pm security kicked me off saying area is closed!! Why?? Then I went to the gym later and they also kicked me out at 10. Which hotel does not have a 24 hour gym. The lights were on. No one was there and they just kicked me out for no reason there’s also a whole maze of a system between residence and hotel guests, and you can’t access a lot of the doors without being a resident as they have these biometric scans so I ended up getting stuck between two doors on the rooftop for 30 minutes with no help and only by accident someone saved me. Overall horrific experience stay away. Also steam room is advertised, but it’s within the spa that has very limited hours and also within the maze that Hotel residence don’t have access to. all nonsense.

The closet at the room was full of cleaning, kitchen and personal items …. The bathroom was more a 3 star hotel with No amenities other than shampoo and liquid soap….the hotel has NO ROOM SERVICE after 5 pm !!! And has NO IN-HOUSE RESTAURANT !!! , no privacy at all , finally , it’s noisy ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT LONG , yo hear the sound of all this exotic cars revving up and down the street and the sound goes directly inside the rooms , there is no way you can relax …. this hotel is sold as a luxury hotel, and is NOT …. definitely NOT as a luxury hotel

Stay was terrible. Everyday something new was happening. Elevator breaking every day of my stay (actually getting stuck in one on my second day) having to go through the staff back entrances which lead us through the garbage disposal areas. Hall maintence which wasn't specified being done directly in front of my room. Being moved from my first room after unpacking everything because the AC wasn't working. Staff member stood in the doorway and watched me pack all of my belongings in a hurry to take me to my next room. Although Front desk waved the daily hotel fee upon check out and gave me mini bar credit for issues I would still not stay here again. Chose this hotel based off of my stay in Los Angeles which was 5 stars.

Housekeeping was very inconsistent and we had to complain twice in a 4 day stay as basic tasks were not completed such as replacing towels, washing glasses and on our final night we received no housekeeping at all until we complained at 6pm at night. Unlike other SLS properties, this one does not provide complimentary bottled water (other than one complimentary offer at check in) and you have to pay for those thereafter. This is utterly unacceptable in my opinion for a hotel of this calibre. The safe did not work, items were missing from the mini bar and we had to ask for additional bathrobe (only one in a double room). It wasn’t bad it was just irritating and not a good level of service. Room is lovely and huge and great decor. Pool is fab and the pool staff great.
