Outside looks a little rundown but inside is OK and wifi works well. Located a couple of blocks from active businesses, just across from Autozone park, so not many people around. Can be somewhat noisy. Breakfast is decent.

all I can say is this place is awful...too bad because location is great but don't be tempted

The most beautiful fraud that I received on vacation, stay at the Vista Inn for days, ahead of time that I have a reservation from 22 to 31 March already paid, I decide to go out for three days March 27 to 29 to go for a ride in Miami I talk to the receptionist to let my electronic key to the reception and retire on March 29 when I came back, of course I did not take with me the keys to the hotel in case of loss would have to pay them, the receptionist agrees and also says that days i not unexpended i would make them pay back, i return to the hotel on March 29 and my reservation was canceled and the money that beggars are also required. the receptionist did not know what to tell me and looking for an excuse to the manager that I agree a room that I have to leave by 11am on the day, of course I moved to a better hotel near them at the price of $ 105 per night versus $ 95 that motel where to point you do not change the sheets, reeks of old and the shower curtain, has a guilty or and mold. Skip it and go somewhere else, you spend a little more, but you are always better than them.

Super friendly staff, affordable, clean. Was able to walk everywhere from here.... Except Graceland.....The guy at the front desk called a shuttle that picked me up and dropped me off. Peabody and Sun Studios are a couple blocks away in opposite directions. Beale Street is about a 5 minute walk.

Great location for the price. Short walk to Beale street and all kinds of good food

Great location, friendly staff, fairly clean. That's about it.

1. The room looked decent for an older hotel. 2. Shower dripped 24 hours a day. 3.The sink stopped up every time the water was turned on. 4. It was like pulling teeth to get towels, hand towels and especially bath cloths. there were 3 of us, yet they would only bring 1 hand towel and 1 bath cloth each day. Then when we tried to get more, the staff did not speak a word of English. Even hand signals did not work with Vista's crew. 5. Breakfast consisted of eggs, waffles, and miniature muffins, BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE SALT AND PEPPER FOR THE EGGS. 6. No coffee maker in the room. 7. On Saturday evening when we drove back to the motel, the parking lot was full with a sign on the street saying " PARKING EVENT $10.00". All the parking spots were filled in front of the rooms and in parking lot. We had to park off in a side area. I have a brand new vehicle and was worried about it being left especially around midnight when people started to return for their parked cars. Anyone could tell they had been drinking by their tone and loudness. They paid $10.00 for a parking spot for a few hours and I was paying more than 10 times that amount to stay there and park my vehicle there. Yet I was the one inconvenienced. 8. PLUS, on two nights on our stay, when we returned to the motel there were 2-3 "ladies" standing out on the sidewalk. They did look as if they might be "short term guests."

Upon arrival, I was asked to sign the hotel off on any responsibility for anything stolen or damaged during my stay at the hotel. Anywhere else, this may be okay, but in Downtown Memphis, at a hotel that does not have security, this is not acceptable. True, you can walk to Beale Street from this hotel, but staying there I never felt safe or secure. Moreover, the rooms were unclean when I arrived. The floors had an oily residue. The towels were NOT clean and pillows actually smelled - indicating that they were not clean either.

The staff was super nice. When we first pulled up, I was skeptical. It almost looks like a motel in an alley. However, the staff was super nice and the room clean. To get to the Fed Ex Forum, we walked down the street and over a few blocks. No frills but served its purpose.

Experience was awful. Pulled up to check in and there were two police vehicles outside. Not a good way to begin your stay ( especially when you have 2 children). Kids were scared. Hotel staff doubled parking lot pay-to-park lot for local event. Didn't feel safe with non guest parking in conjunction with hotel having guests sign a 0 liability waiver. It's like taunting the guests. Will not go back. Will never recommend. Please take off your site.

Mattresses and sofas stacked in the parking lot. Pulled off the bed spread when I walked in and saw blood and bed bug poop all over the place. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY!

Room could've been more clean, especially the floor needing better vacuuming. Great location, only a few blocks from Beale Street.

Simply avoid this motel it's scarry looking We drive in and drove out and are having a hard time getting a refund

The only good thing is that it isn t far from Beale street but that is all. It is decent for one night. But I wouldn't come back.

This hotel showed us a very dirty room initially with burn holes in the bed cover but then we were shown a much cleaner one that met out needs. Hot water lasted only a minute or so and in winter that was not very convenient but overall cannot complain too much. Not a recommended place to stay in the future but not terrible in a pinch.

I chose to stay at this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, and it was everything I was looking for in a one-night stay by the airport. The shuttle was out of commission, but they paid for my cab and coordinated my morning transport. Would definitely stay here again!

The Vista Inn was clean, extremely affordable and in a great location to Memphis attractions. (Maybe be aware of your surroundings walking home at night). Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in town!

Much better than we expected, friendly, clean, comfortable, great location, and easy spacious parking lot, everything we need from a hotel, especially a reasonably priced one in pricy downtown area.

The Hotel is ok, however it is dated and could use some maintenance. The night clerk promised free breakfast, but none was to be found the next morning, in fact there was no one at the fornt desk The area is a bit seedy.
