The valet service was automated and kept asking me to tip the valet. I always tip the valet in cash, but the phone reminders were very annoying. Also valet was slow, and several valet guys just standing around.

The design was beautiful, the staff was nice. However, there is no microwave in the room and the rooms are rather small. Also, the billing is an issue. I paid in full once I got there and kept getting unautorized charges in the middle of the night until I locked my card. The staff said that there was nothing that could be done because those charges are created by their nightly audit system. I had to explain that reduces the overall funds that are available to spend due to the pending hold. They had no answers and stated that there was no manager on duty at this large hotel.

It was a beautiful sunny day when we checked in. We were told the rooftop bar was closed. Very disappointed as i booked based on the mississippi river view hotel bragged about from rooftop. Had i known of closure i would have chosen a different hotel.

Room was fine ~ TV did not have information about the hotel and the front desk was not real well informed about questions we poised. Roof top bar ~ staff was more interested in visiting with each other than waiting on customers and one staff behind the bar kept working on her hair. One in our party ordered a Bloody Mary and they were OUT of Bloody Mary mix ???? Young lady who checked us in was from South Africia and had a beautiful accent but it was often hard to understand what she was saying and she had to repeat many many things. Perhpas the most impressive of all the staff was the valet parking attendents ~ THEY WERE AMAZING!!!
