Liked the location of the hotel, close to Beale street.
Unique design
Property is excellent but the staff would rather be doing something else—the valet being the only notable exception. Our impression is that the other staff (check-in/reception as well as the bar/service) is untrained and/or disinterested in hospitality—it’s clear that there is a staffing issue as the “being ok w/ a lax working culture” attitude is demonstrated by so many employees. We’ll be staying somewhere else the next time we’re in town.

Very nice place, clean and new with very nice architectural features.
Tv didn’t work when I checked in. Called 3 times and was told someone would be up to fix it. Nobody ever came up. I’d like a refund.
VERY loud neighborhood - awakened at 2:30 and 4:30am due to people and cars on the street below. Overpriced for the area and parking fee $35/day, no breakfast. Staff very nice. Top cover on the bed was a duvet only - hard to ascertain if it was being changed between guests
WE PAID FOR VALET PARKING. INSTRUCTED SERVICE THAT WE WERE LEAVING EARLY IN THE MORNING. TRIED TO CONTACT THEM 10 MIN. PRIOR TO DEPARTURE, COULD NOT REACH ANY ONE. INFORMED FRONT DESK WHILE CHECKING OUT. THEY SAID THAT THEY DO NOT COME IN UNTIL 7 AM. IT IS 5 AM. I ASKED WHERE OUR CAR WAS AND THEY SAID 2 BLOCKS AWAY. THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO GO GET IT IF WE WANTED IT. THEY GAVE US HORRIBLE DIRECTIONS ABOUT WHICH PARKING GARAGE IT WAS IN. THEY WERE NO HELP. SO WE HAD TO DRAG OUR LUGGAGE AT 515 AM IN DOWN TOWN MEMPHIS TRYING TO FIND OUR RENTAL CAR SO WE COULD GET TO THE AIRPORT BY 530. THEN THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE VALET SERVICE CHARGE AS PROMISED. I HAD TO CALL ABOUT THAT WHEN WE GOT BACK INTO TOWN.
