The hotel is in a great location, one block from Beale St. The garage costs $26 nightly with in and out access. Front desk staff were very friendly/helpful. The breakfast was tasty (waffles, 3-4 more hot items, plus breads and cold goods). The only issue we had was the constant knocking coming from the air ducts (room 424). The front desk staff did offer a different room the next day, but we were out and didn’t feel like moving everything. They offer earplugs due to the music on Beale, so we used them. One other issue is the bright night light by the restroom sink. I put a bag to block it the second night. Other than those 2 issues we really enjoyed the hotel. The beds, pull out sofa bed, and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was very spacious.

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms! The breakfast the first morning was not great. We went down with about a half hour left of service and most things had run out. The next morning we went down early and it was much better.

I arrived to the hotel late so I went right to bed. Upon awakening, I was unable to enjoy my view because the electric shades didn’t work. Neither curtain was able to be drawn up so I had to request a room change. Additionally, I specifically chose this hotel and location due to a previous stay. The reason for the choice was that the indoor pool was heated to a temperature that was very comfortable! I was so pleased with it that I chose to stay again and, to my surprise, the water was freezing. I asked for the heater to be turned on and they told me it would be checked. Later in my stay, I went back to the pool and the temp was not any higher. While this may seem minor, the downtown area in Memphis is busy and I could’ve chosen anywhere else in the city; including something more convenient to my location.
