My husband and I stayed at this Memphis, TN, property during the final leg of a two-week road trip. As a longtime Hilton member, I was deeply disappointed by the condition of this location—it was by far the most neglected and deteriorated Hilton property I’ve encountered. I strongly encourage Hilton corporate to conduct an unannounced visit to witness the state of the facility firsthand.
The entryway glass was noticeably dirty, and the elevators and some of the upholstered furniture in the common areas were similarly unkempt. Elevator panels were scratched and faded, and the paint job appeared amateurish—unevenly applied with visible buildup on the floors and walls. The same poor workmanship extended to the baseboards along the hallways.
Inside our room, basic amenities were missing, including bar soap and makeup removal cloths that are typically standard at other Hilton locations. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed disengaged and unfriendly, giving the impression they didn’t want to be there. Overall, this experience fell far below the standards I’ve come to expect from Hilton.
