Overall, the stay was fine and served its purpose. We needed a place to stay for one night while in Memphis. The room itself was great, and the staff was friendly. Perhaps it was due to the renovations happening at the hotel, but it just seemed like the staff, while friendly, was a bit undertrained or equipped. The food options were very limited and subpar for what one would expect from Courtyard by Marriott accommodations.

Bathtub did not drain. Standing in water when taking shower. Fire door at stair did not close.

I like the accessibility to the highway and the desk agents were very personable and welcoming. I didn't like the fact that the gate was never closed on time. I didn't like the roach smell on the elevator. I didn't like the heavy weed smell in the hall. I didn't like that we had to walk all the way to the desk to get toilet paper because no one was available to bring it to the room and there was no housekeeping unless requested. I didn't like the hot sodas in the broken refrigerator at the front desk being charged the regular price which is already hiked up. Why not remove the broken refrigerator and just keep the working one stocked. Luckily when I mentioned that the soda was hit I was told check the working frig and founrhe last one way in the back.

Super clean, comfy bed. Wish breakfast was earlier

This was such a disappointment We usually stay at Marriott properties, this was unclean and smelly. Everything was sticky. The carpets in the room felt wet and sticky, one could not put a foot on them without shoes or sandals. The gym equipment was rusty and atrociously unclean. The entire place had a weird smell to it, the corridors, the rooms everything

A/C was not working properly. Blowing regular air during a 100 deg weather. Torn carpet by the stairs could cause accidental trip and fall. Fire alarm went off and we had to get out of the building until cleared by fire dept. I suppose this is good bec it means the alarm works. Pool was covered and unavailable for use. This Marriott was below my expectation.

Older hotel, very outdated property.

There was a motorcycle club or something staying. They loved revving their engines at 11 pm and playing loud music. I could smell marijuana in the hallways and outside the hotel. The hotel is showing it’s age and in my opinion should not be a Marriott without massive renovations. Room was decently clean , however behind the tv there was other guest trash and on my balcony old cups and beer caps. Our tv didn’t work and called the front desk and they were going to send someone which never happened. It was a decent hotel for the night before our flight. Staff was very friendly. They were nice and kind. The other guest were the biggest issue. It was like they had never stayed in a hotel before and it was a vacation for them at an airport hotel. No respect for other guest. Great proximity to the airport though.

I was disappointed with mt stay. I am a retired and a former Marriott associate. My wife and I stayed for two nights. The room was fair. It took 2 calls to the front desk to get an extra pillow ( 1 hour in all). Afyer an exhausting day in Memphis our room was never cleaned. It was the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed in. J. Willard Marriott would turn over in his grave.

Friendly staff. Clean facility. Close to airport. We stay there whenever we fly.

Not in the best location but there was a great Mexican restaurant across the street. It was clean and basic and suited our needs.
