Harrington House

very pleasant B&B

We had a very pleasant stay in Milford. The B&B was clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of "common space" both indoors and out. "Innkeeper" was helpful, friendly, and breakfasts were good and varied. Highly recommended.

Hampton Inn Matamoras - Milford

A good choice in a small town

This hotel is a nice clean hotel with very helpful employees. Matamoras is a small town with few hotel options. For my wife and I it is halfway to Boston where have family and we often stop here to make the trip a little less tiring. The only problem we have had is the heating and cooling system not easy to operate generally we have found you need to set it to 74 F to get heat and 66 F to get cooling. We have had this problem in every room we have stayed.

Catskill Mountains Resort

Newly renovated. Still problems with operations.

Nice staff. Clean rooms. No luggage racks in rooms. No counter in bathroom to put your toiletries down and no towel hooks. Breakfast is fair. Large portions in restaurant on site. ATV trails not fully finished and they charge $40 to go around in a loop twice with a guide for about 15 minutes. First assigned to room where bathroom was not cleaned. Immediately given another room. Following day returned from being out to a room that was unlocked and open but nothing was missing. Staff friendly and apologetic. Staff discuss issues in main lobby for customers to hear. Should only get better with more experience.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Middletown

Nice hotel convenient to Middletown, NY

I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only drawback is the lack of a traditional clothing closet for our use. The only space to hang up our clothing was located behind a curtain near a window. An ingenious idea, however the wooden clothes hangers were much larger than than the space allotted for their use.
