Easy check in, nice clean room. It was a tad bit small considering that we used the pull out couch, but not unbearable for 1 night. The staff were great and the breakfast/restaurant with tvs was cool.

When we arrived the staff was too busy talking with one another to help us and when they finally did they quickly checked us in and shewed us away. I had informed the lady at check-in that I had prepaid which she acknowledged and dismissed(more about this later). We got settled into our room and asked the lady at the front desk for a recommendation for a beach to go to. She got a puzzled look on her face a went and grabbed a card and said there is this one but traffic is going to be bad....Really!? That's it!?! That night a wedding party rolled in on our floor about midnight whooping and hollering and woke us up(including a 3 year old). We called the front desk which rang and rang and rang with no answer for at least 3 minutes. When we finally got some one they acted like we were annoying them so I ended up confronting the noise makers myself which got them to go into a room(next door) and they continued to party it up til 4am. We made a couple more calls but it became evident that they weren't going to stop. We checked out in the morning quickly because we had gotten no sleep and had to meet up with friends early so I never got a receipt which turns out was a mistake because when I checked my bank account they had charged me a second time for the hotel room. So today I called and they lady I spoke to was pretty much clueless and just hurried to get me off the phone and told me we will fix it and send you a receipt. I somehow doubt that will happen anytime soon. Stay away from this hotel until the management and staff changes!!!!

We often stay at this courtyard by Marriott in novato, ca. Once again, we had a comfortable, spacious, and quiet room and a wonderful breakfast downstairs at the bistro. Forgot to bring my bathing suit! This hotel is a quiet respite for us when making a big family visit!

The location of the hotel was in the perfect location for us. In between the NAPA area and San Fran. The hotel staff was very helpful and easy to work with. The room was modern and clean. Only negative was that there were not many restaurants close to the hotel.

I checked in late (11:00 pm) and left the next morning. The staff was courteous and the room was comfortable. However, for the price I paid that needs to be so. I was expecting 4-star and got 3. Pricy area though, so may not be the hotel's fault.

Enjoyed the location and facilities offered by the Courtyard Marriott. It was near wine country and some very good restaurants.

We stayed at this hotel as the base for a wedding in Sonoma and were very satisfied.

Too Noisy, Front door entrance playing misic in the night

Great people running hotel found fun things to do area property

The location was great as it was nearby some really nice restaurants and a market if you need it.

This hotel met our basic needs. The coffee in the lobby was not always available and the Bistro breakfast was average. We got an internet coupon for the breakfast for free, otherwise it would have been $25 per day!!! WAY overpriced! There is a really nice shopping center next door which has Safeway, Peets Coffee and other cafes where we would have ate if the breakfast was not free. The king room was pretty small if you have more than two people staying there. The grounds and rooms were clean.

We were there to attend a wedding at the Country Club, 2 miles away. Two other guests for the same wedding were also staying at Marriott Novato. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the Bistro, particularly french toasts with strawberries. The rooms were nice and clean. p.s. The nearby restaurant "TOAST" was an excellent dining place.

Meeting with friends

Very comfortable, quiet, and pleasant experience. Many services within walking distance- Safeway, Peete's Coffee, and restaurants. Cheapest gas in the area next to the hotel (Safeway). Excellent value for hotels in the area with convenient access to highway 101.

stores and restaurants walkable(right next door to huge shopping plaza), very nice staff, room was super clean and waaaaay nicer than expected for the price, bed very comfy. definitely stay again

It took three tries to get a room that was ok..one really smelled of smoke..this is a NON-smoking hotel? The rooms are a bit claustrophobic...furniture so big have to watch where you walk to not run into it.. We needed to use the sofa bed..they said the sheets etc were in the room..they were not..soo late at night we had to organize that. It was okay for our purposes but so many little things... I asked where the mall was, they gave me PRINTED directions which were totally WTONG..all in all, it was OK.. the airconditioning only turns on when you enter the room, windows do not open, a bit stuffy..either too cold or too hot...

Excellent

Average

The stay was excellent. The hotel staff is friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The compliementary coffee/tea area is well stocked and cleaned. Beautiful and pleasant environment. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a great variety of food - ordered to cooked omelete, waffles, and other standard items for breakfast. The fruits are sweet and juicy. A minor point is the TV is a bit old as it took couple of seconds to change channel.

PROPERTY IS VERY USER FRIENDLY. STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMODATING AND PROVIDED HELPFUL INFORMATION. PARKING IS FREE AND IMMEDIATELY IN FRONT OF BUILDING. ROOMS WERE OF GOOD SIZE, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.
