Convenient location. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast

Good value. Clean. Nice breakfast. Liked rustic feel of it.

Good location, quiet this trip, friendly staff. Of the three nights stay, our room didn't get cleaned one day so we had to go to office to get towels etc. Otherwise a pleasant time...

Pleased with stay overall: location, breakfast, room comfort. Some trouble with internet connections.

Bathroom shower drain was backed up and shower was missing a door so water went everywhere. Bed was comfortable.

Surat was OK, room was OK. Like having a vanity to do my makeup. The basic cable was more then basic I was only able to watch 5 channels. No bathtub. I'll stay again if I had to, however, it really would be for the breakfast.

Don't expect much. Was overpriced for such an old place. Was quiet even though on a busy street.

We were touring the area and just wanted an inexpensive but clean and comfortable place to stay. We also wanted a good breakfast to start our day. Villa Inn scored on all points. It isn't fancy but it is clean and comfortable. The front desk was 24/7 accessible and was very helpful. The Villa Inn was a good starting point for our excursions to Muir Woods, the Lighthouse and other points of interest. I would stay there again.

Our room was super clean and nicely appointed, with two comfortable side-chairs as well as a desk and desk chair. The room was small, with barely any space between the foot of the bed and the dresser. The bathroom was small but adequate, though a bit dimly lit. There was a good flat screen TV, with a decent selection of channels. The heating system worked well to take the chill off the room at night. The complimentary breakfast was better than average, with a make-your-own-waffle set up in addition to the usual cereal, toast and pastries. But don’t have breakfast here unless you’re a member of the Clean Plate Club -- it was surprising and a bit embarrassing when my friend and I were publicly scolded by the hostess for leaving an inch of coffee and orange juice in our cups!

A bit outdated motel but for $100 in San Francisco still a fairly good deal.

I thought it was clean at first. But next day, I was bitten by bed bugs or something else. It was good that I had my shorts and t-shirt on. My arms and legs were bitten at least ten spots.

No, this is not a 5 star palace, and yes the rooms are a little dated, but it is clean and located conveniently when one is looking for a crash pad in the area.

Good location close to many areas of Marin County. Quick access to 101. Probably in process of renovation. Upgrades in evidence but areas of poor maintenance. We had to change rooms several times due to unworkable outlets. Our final room was fine. Hotel staff were efficient but we didn't get any feeling of warmth or welcome.

Stayed two nights for one night and then another...
