The place is near the different bars and night clubs in Makati. A little bit confusing and difficult to find coz the drop off is in front of those bars. Literally the place is at the second floor of the building and you would ‘t spot it right away. Anyways, the toom is just ok. If you’re a security freak then this is not the place for u. I was given a room at the second floor from the reception (outside). There’s a security guard on duty but he’s mostly sleeping when we stayed there. Another thing is that, don’t expect a cozy bathroom. It looks like a typical bathroom you have at home, maybe yours is better. The towels are old like ur overused towel at home.
I always love this place... especially now that its newly "renovated"! Better room interior, new lobby design and also the dining/ kitchen. Staffs are great. Friendly and accommodating. Breakfast are good. Limited choices but serving are big. 👍👍👍 Not a fancy hotel but you'll love this esp if you have a limited budget. 👍👍👍
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we wouldn't have stayed there more than one night if we haven't prepaid the stay upon check-in. We found the hotel online while we were looking for a room in Makati. The photos online look nice but very misleading as it has nothing to do with reality. The hotel is quite old not refurbished as they say, cheaply furnished, it is located in a kind of a commercial gallery amongst other shops and offices. When we arrived at the room we had a bad surprise : They gave us the smallest room they have, the bed they call double bed is more like a single bed with two pillows! I complained at the reception, and the receptionist promised to change our room next day. The room we got next day was not much better, apart the bed was a little bigger. The room is very outdated, no place to store our clothes, stains on the bed sheets, many small cockroaches in the room and in the bathroom, we couldn't open the window blinds then we understood that this was intentional as the view was over the gallery corridors ! During the 3 nights we slept very badly because of the strong noise of air conditioning and also the loud music coming from the bars down the hotel and as you can image when you know there are bugs in the room, it is not easy to get some sleep !! I forgot to mention that in the hotel corridor there was some work going on and painting odor was all over the place. I think this hotel should reconsider the way they describe their property and put some pictures that really represent the place. They are definitely not a 3-star hotel, I would give it half a star and this is being generous! They should make a lot of improvements to their services. At the end this was not the good bargain we thought we got online but we felt deceived and scammed.
I stayed here in December with my family for a few days before taking a domestic flight. The bad: -Noise and lights of cars passing through. from daytime till 10 PM -Beds are to small - Poor breakfast - Wifi is slow - Prostitutes are active on ground floor - Not much food options near the hotel , except for a Macdonald's The good: -Cheap - Location, Makati and airport are nearby. - Staff is friendly and helpful
I found this hotel on the internet looking for a place to stay in Manila, in the photos it looked very nice so I decided to give it a try. My flight arrived at 5am so I got at the hotel by 7am. First, the hotel does not look like a hotel from outside and the area is very noisy because of the traffic...how many stars do they say it has...? The lobby is dark and damp. The receptionist (a girl) was very nice but after giving me the rate per night she explained that there was an extra charge for early check-in...ok...Then she explained that apart from the price I had to pay for my 3-night stay there was some extra money they asked as a deposit that it would be returned to me after checked out...but there was no logical explanation for this "deposit"...As I had to wait to check-in, I asked to have a look at the room. They showed me one that had recently been cleaned, it was dark and damp, the window faced a wall and it had been sprayed with something like insecticide that smelled awful, they told me it was a deodorizer, the bed was very small. I asked to see another room. They showed me one across from the reception desk which was being cleaned, it was dark and damp as well, the room and the bed very small and I saw bugs walking on the walls ew! then I understood why the "deodorizer"...that made me ran away, I told them I would come back but I knew I wouldn't. I would never stay at a place like this.
I booked a triple room and paid P4,500.00 with breakfast. The first room they assigned us was a room with one single bed and one a double size bed. I would not have complained if the second bed was a queen size bed. How do you expect two adults to sleep comfortably on a double size bed and considering you paid for a triple room. This is like shortchanging your guests. I requested/insisted that they transfer us to a room with three beds which they did. But this should not have happened. No slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste upon request, no electric airpot so no coffee/tea to welcome guests, water in a pitcher unlike other hotels in sealed bottles. My children and I have booked in more or less ten hotels in Metro Manila before, I am sorry to say that this is the poorest hotel in terms of accommodation, however, on the brighter side breakfast was good, the staff is accommodating like the room boy and the guard greeting you with a smile always. I read a lot of bad reviews about this hotel, but we tried it anyway thinking there was improvement. We were disappointed.
First, there is no wifi in the room. Wifi are only accessible from the lobby and dining area. Due to time differences between UK & Philippines I have to go to the lobby at 1:30am just to use the free wifi where there are loads of undesirables around. I didn't feel safe at this hotel. The security is virtually do not exist. Second, the rooms that I have been are inadequate. Not a 3* that they advertised, More like a 1*. I will never use this hotel ever.
Pros: Location was good. It was right across the embassy where we needed to go. Greenbelt mall was a 15-minute walk away. Room size is okay for couples. Staff are nice and courteous. Washroom has cold and hot waters. Breakfast was amazing. Cons: there was no wifi in our room. We had to go to the lobby and dining area. Sheets were itchy. We have seen a few roaches - some of them in our food. Hallway was noisy you could hear people walking and talking loudly.
So upset with the night staff dec30,2016 no heart to symphatized on our circumstances , we missed flight back uk due to typhoon , then were not able to be in there hotel on the 26 bec were stranded in visayas no plane , that's the reason we missed27 flight back to uk. Booked expensive flight to go back home, we stayed in there hotel when we came in dec1, 2016, despite of poorly wifi etc we take no noticed if it , I called the hotel 26 explained to them the reason and it's very clear they knew that there was a typhoon . Went back dec30 hoping that the management will accommodate us , but to make it short no.. we paid according to the rate of our agency . They don't considered our circumstances that were drained of money . We begged only for one day for dec31 our flight back uk. Worst was I asked if they can give us free breakfast , but the receptionist said no, its not the food but it's human consideration , and to think even its dec 31 New Year's Day.. a cup of tea or bread .. I was embarrassed with my husband English man . Who admired us Filipinos of being compassionate and understanding .. i can't forget this and hope no one will experience this kind of feelings .. money in creekside is more important than human consideration .. poorly hotel no wifi and if you asked for pillow you need to pay ...
Does not have hotel lift, building lift is not working, wifi sucks, it doesn't work most of the time. The rooms are not so clean and the room arrangement is not pleasing to the eyes. Complimentary water came in a pitcher and glass which is not so ordinary.
