Staff is very rude and not helpful at all. Breakfast is a joke. Its cold and burned. and you have to early otherwise they only have garlic rice. Very noisy airconditioner and not cool at all. Small cramped rooms!
This place is a old and dirty. Very bad smell of the toilet in the room. Right next to the highway so it is very loud noise of local Jeepneys and cars. Very loud sound of the aircon in the room. Grey color towels. Had to ask 4 times to get the Iron. Definitely not a 3 Star hotel. Bad choice. Would not recommend.
I booked this hotel for the 2nd Jan to sleep after flying in from Puerto Princesa however my flight got cancelled due to the typhoon, and I was unable to fly until the 3rd. I sent texts to both mobile numbers listed on their website, two emails and I facebooked them. I was unable to call as I didn’t have a local phone number to ring the hotel. I just wanted to change the night of my booking due to the flight cancellation and hoped they’d understand and be flexible. I arrived in the morning after flying in and explained the situation, including the many times I tried contacting them. I merely asked if I could use the room I’d paid for, for the daytime until my next flight to Sydney which I had to pay for after my one from Puerto Princesa stopped me catching my initial one from Manila this morning. The staff told me I should’ve contacted Expedia even though I booked through my Qantas app and showed them this. They just repeated that I should’ve emailed Expedia which didn’t make sense and made me pay 1400PHP for a room for less than 11 hours despite me paying 1200PHP for a full night the night before. They have a sign at the front offering low rates for rooms for 12 hours but I got told this was ‘First in First serve’. Aside from the horrendous front office staff and lack of customer service or understanding about my situation, the rest of the hotel was okay for the price. The staff member who showed me to my room was great and made sure I knew the number to front desk and connected me to wifi. Otherwise this is a 1/10 from a very stressed traveller and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this hotel. Everywhere else I’ve stayed in the past three weeks has been fantastic in comparison. The front office staff at Eurotel just seem as though they want your money and are unable to be flexible or accommodating. Also being unable to be able to reach the hotel through multiple contact channels was stressful.
Our stay at Eurotel Makati was ok enough for a 1 star hotel. We made advance reservation 2 months in advance thru Agoda. The rate we paid includes breakfast. We got 3 rooms studio type. Room was a bit small but my mom was able to fit in with her wheelchair. Good AC and hot shower available. We stayed on the 4th floor and hallways were quiet enough for us to get a good rest. Only drawback is the parking at the basement which is very limited to a few cars. Valet parking is free. Breakfast buffet is ok but you have to eat early as supply is limited on their food refills. Overall rating: Good enough for the price.
Eurotel has been around for 12 years, and is "Managed by experienced hoteliers". I must say their hoteliers must be blind or deaf because the room we stayed in at their Makati site was absolutely disgusting. CONS: 1. Upon arrival, there was a lot of construction going at the hotel driveway, which forced us to alight at the highway intersection where a lot of fast moving cars pass by, which is very dangerous especially if their guests have children, elderly, or with people with special need. 2. Check-in wasn't pleasant at all. Their front office staff weren't smiling, and very transactional (like a robot). Which made me wonder if they are still happy with their jobs, or they just don't like spending a little bit of energy to make hotel guests feel welcome. 3. Upon issuance of the room key, the front office staff called the attention of their bell boy to assist us with our big pieces of luggage. As soon as the bell boy came, he offered to handle our bags but then decided to just let us carry them from the elevator to our room. It was very sudden where he just left us after we entered the elevator. So rude and weird. * So much for "executed by carefully selected and well-trained personnel" - EUROTEL MISSON. 4. Our room was on the 9th floor, and thank goodness it wasn't in front of the elevator (because there was a room directly in front - well good luck for the noise) but the hallway was very narrow, like uncomfortably narrow, people who have claustrophobia would easily feel uncomfortable. 5. Our Studio Room was not as comfortable and eye appealing as advertised on their website. - Our room was dimly lit, the bathroom sink was dirty, the floor had hair strands, the television remote rarely worked, the pillows weren't soft, the linens were very thin, the bed was hard, the provided flip flops were too small for adults, there weren't any hangers (really? a businessman's hotel?) . 6. Only 1 elevator worked throughout our stay. 7. Tried calling the front desk several times for queries, and each time I had to wait for a minute or two before they answer. 8. Come breakfast, we had to wait in the queue because all tables were full, which was okay, but the most bizarre thing happened: the restaurant staff offered us a coffee table to use for breakfast! like the round coffee table they have in the lounge! He even said "kung okay lang naman sa yo sir" - "only if it's okay with you". Like how on earth are we gonna fit two plates on their small coffee table? * WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DOES THIS HOTEL PROVIDE THEIR STAFF? * DOES THIS HOTEL EVEN KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE? Horrible Hotel. Never gonna recommend this place to anyone. Stay AWAY from Eurotel Makati.
I really never really expect that much on this hotel, since it got lots of bad reviews, but guess what, it exceeds my expectation. Checked-in was smooth. Suite room is clean, spacious & big bathroom. I just think they should add more lights, THICKER BLANKET , it was seriously thin. like Wtf....and a ref is lacking. The hotel location is along a busy streets, fast foods, malls, jeepneys are just in vicinities.
For what I needed to do, I was happy with its location and the inclusion of a good buffet breakfast. Front desk and hotel staff were helpful and courteous. And for the price, the room was acceptable, inspite of a few issues with cleanliness and a smelly ensuite. I requested for a quiet room, but the elevator nearby beeped loudly every time someone uses it. Even the sound of the aircon at full blast wasn't enough to mask its noisy beeping throughout the night. But what bothered me most was how I wasn't able to recover my phone charger that I left behind. You'd think that it would have been easy to track down the cleaner who would have found it after I checked out. I know, it's just a phone charger, but it belonged to my mother who recently passed away so it's a very important item to me and I would have gladly paid double for its return. I was there for her funeral and I was charging her phone just before leaving the hotel.
Stayed overnight due to delayed flight. Front Officers/Staffs dont smile☺ though they answered queries. Room is normal just that the aircon is so noisy, bathroom is not that clean, towel is too old and hard. On the other hand, location is very convenient.
Eutotel Makati is a good place to stay for budget contious traveller in Makati. it is across waltermart makati, which is very accessible when you are craving for something to eat. Overall inside the hotel is great but when you go out, you can feel the hassle and bustle of city living. All kinds of public transportation (from pedicads to buses) are all over the place which makes outside of the hotel a little bit noisy. All in all it is still a good place to stay in Makati
Booked from Aug.11-18. The place is very simple, with an excellent service rendered from reception specially mentioned to Desiree (hopefully, I remembered it right), bell boys, waiters at breakfast restaurant and hotel cleaners. They are all hard working staff and very polite to their guests. The hotel is easy access to public and private vehicles. Just in front of Waltermart Mall and surrounded by so many small stores. The price is the cheapest price you can avail along the vicinity of Makati area with free buffet breakfast. I could have make it 5 stars review but due to the strong smell from their sewer maintenance and insecticide spray the moment you come out from the elevator going to the entrance of your room makes my noise so irritated. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect score of 5.
