The receptionist are good and accommodating. Early in the morning, during our breakfast guests are expecting news over the television, but the channel of your television is concentrating in "SABONG" ( cockpit ) which is not healthy because most of your guests are professionals. They love to watch to news in the morning. The room smells cigarettes, poor in-sanitation. The remote of the television is not functioning. Some of the staff in the restaurant didn't smile in the customer. ( nakasimangot ) unpleasant. Room Number 505 Stay May 19-20, 2017
I booked this hotel because it was a 3 min walk to my supposed convention location. Unfortunately it was moved to an area 30min away Stay: 5nights Room: 916 and 906 Positives: +friendly staff +near glorietta and little tokyo Negatives: +incompetent staff.. you ask for an iron and they give you a hanger 2 hours later +you ask for a new remote control because their other remote isn't working... they arrive after 3 calls 30 min intervals each just to ask again. +broken toilet.. called front desk.. same thing +talked to the manager.. immediately transfers me to another room + no internet in the 2nd room + staff are noisy!! Talking away on their walkie talkies 3am in the morning laughing and singing! + parking dirty +room clean but had a very strong cigarette smell (non smoking hotel) +noisy air-conditioning +parking was blocked at the exit by their advertisements... no guard to move the signs! +food? They forgot your order +food... disgusting false advertising I will never return
Great location, near restaurants and malls. Customer service however needs to improve. Cleaning of the room is not done even if you place 'make up the room' signage on the door. No Internet access in some floors.
The room they gave me was smelly (smoking room I think). I called reception and requested for a non smoking room and they complied to my request. The room was old but clean. Staff are very accommodating. Breakfast was ok Filipino breakfast but not fantastic.
They're giving is awful looking room until o told them that is not what the room I saw in the ad. Bad bed sheet, not good smelling room. No bath tub which I booked. They transferred us in a better room after I complained though.
I stayed at the Eurotel Makati Hotel for few day and was so impressed by the fantastic service by all the staff there. They greeted me every single morning with a smile and a positive attitude and she went above and beyond to leave personal touches in my room each day. They was truly one of the best attendants I have ever experienced- and I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world! I would love to return to this property on my next visit to Manila.
Yes, good location in Makati, but there are many other things which need improvement. The main problem was that the doors to all the rooms are cheap hollow plywood doors. You can here everything. The constant door bell from the elevator. Security walking up and down the hall way with their walky-talky on maximum volume. The squealing room service carts. Plus noise from other rooms including extra loud TV's. The mattress is covered with black plastic, which is kind of noisy when you toss and turn, plus it reminds me of my last hospital stay. I had to make the bed several times, because they use no fitted bed sheets. The air-con worked only for ten minutes. I had to call housekeeping three times. Then the fan worked but not with cold air. I have to give 5 stars for the shower and 4 stars for the breakfast buffet, which is included in the fair room price.
Overall this is a good hotel that has a good location and the price is hard to beat. And then there is the... BUT..... Why is it that with little effort this could be so much better of a place. Upon arriving, I was greeted kindly. I ask the view the room and was given a room without a window. I was told there were no rooms with window available. The manager was called and he was kindly to help out and with a 30 minute wait I was giving a nice room with a window. On the second day I noticed a rock under my bed. The sheets were clean but did had stains on them. On the third day, I had to ask 3 times to get my room cleaned. They finally came a bit after 5 pm. On the table I had set empty bottles of water , beer, vodka, glasses and coffee cups. They came only to make the bed, sweep but the rock stil under the bed. Left all dishes on the table. No replenishing of water bottles. On my last night I ordered food in. First they lost my order. Then the policy is to pay in cash when food arrives. The staff was friendly, helpful, but the attention to detail lacks enormously. Upon a closer look you can tell in the lobby, elevator floor. Nothing is very clean. It wouldn't take much to get this hotel in great shape but for now, just enjoy the location, good price and friendly staff. If this review is helpful to you , then please give me a thumbs up :)
+Nice hotel with filipino style breakfast near the airport. Room is clean and nice, good shower room with warm water and enough pressure. Wifi is little slow, but works though. Mall and lots of restaurants near. -Had to request Room service many times, until they cleaned the room. Little too much street noise.
Stayed for a night with a family member visiting. Good location with 24 hours convinient shops nearby and just accross a mini mall. Easy access to public transit and taxi service. You can practically walk going to Makati CBD. The room we had was a bit small with no windows only glass bricks to let in natural light but it is clean and the bed comfy enough for a good nights sleep. Not much furnishing, just the bed a table for two and a built in dresser/closet. Wifi is free but for some reason we've had a hard time connecting to it. Breakfast is served in the dining area just off the reception in the main entrance. The selection in the buffet is simple but its not replenished well. We ended up having steamed rice, leftover mixed veg and a fried egg. The fruit juice served tasted a bit watered down. Would have been nice if an ala cart breakfast was an option if the complimentary breakfast buffet is not well stocked. Staff are generally nice and friendly which is a plus for me. Over all good enough place to stay if your not into shared accommodation and cheap enough for a few nights stay.
