They would not let me check in before 2:00 p.m. so I had to kill half of a day waiting oh they allowed check in but they wanted lots of extra money too early check in that is not acceptable

The rooms are awful. No shower curtains for a walk-in shower toilets are clogged that cause water to overflow not enough towels and bathroom papers to use. The bed and sheets doesn’t get made and change unless you asked the desk clerk to get your room cleaned. Overall a zero star.

Quiet AC system. Clean rooms. Free waters. No restaurant, but in Malate, who cares. Nice staff. It is what it is. A basic no frills room.

Friendly and help staff; Difficult to control the temperature of the hot water in the shower

great value. Very streamlined. Clean! This is a three star hotel and makes no pretense of being more than that. Wifi is reliable but slow on day of my visit. No carpet- tiled hotel floors. No phone in individual rooms... but that is what cell phones are for. Anyone who ventures to check into this hotel should be adventurous enough to buy a local SIM card for 1-3 USDollars. Front desk reassured me this slow internet is already being addressed before I came. Free parking most days is a bonus when it is available most of the time.(again Hotel is a three star and makes it clear that parking is free when available). Immediate Neighborhood withing 30 feet dicey but brightens up quickly beyond that. Walking distance to Malate church, remedios circle Manila Bay sea wall and Karaoke bars of Malate. Nice coffee shop right next door, and a 24 hour 7-11 on left side :-) Who needs a hotel souvenir shop? Staff very courteous and accommodating and Efficient.

Ok budget hotel. Rooms are bare without any amenities except shower

I requested 1 month in advance bay ocean views and they put me in a room with a terrible view of slums. Noisy with a chicken singing every morning. I asked to change the room and they said that they were fully booked. Also, I found many women hair in the floor of the bedroom and also in the bathroom.

Was a little concerned at first when I was told of the location of this hotel, Ermita. (Didn't know about this red light district. I am usually in bed by 9 or 10 p.m. anyway and up early the following day.) But found it was ideal for me: close to LRT, Malate Catholic Church, restaurants, Robinson Mall, Bay Walk. Yes, there are places in the area I wouldn't wander off, especially at night. Use common sense. The hotel itself was perfect for my needs: a basic clean, modern room with a working air conditioner, warm water, good bed and reasonable rate. I was in Manila three times in the months of May and June and stayed in this hotel each time. I felt more at home each time. Staff were knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

Stayed a few times, like the location and staff is great. Only problem this stay was other guest lslamming doors so echoed throughout the floor. Suggest adding some silicone door dampers to the door jams. Other than that, the hotel is great value and location, super clean and beds are comfortable.

The state was very convenient very close to the embassies satellite medical clinic that I was attending for Test Very close to a very nice park and great restaurants and Very close to a very nice park and great restaurants and parks The staff was friendly I will suggest maybe offering a continental breakfast for the future for your gas

Clean frendly staff made stay very pleasant. Would stay here again

Loved everything about this hotel except the loud karoke noise that starts @ 6pm lasting all night. The room was nice with a good AC,Cable Channels, and location. The rooms need the same sound insulation that lobby has. Loved the rooms but can't stand the loud music. I got only 3hrs of sleep and won't be back.

Taxi from the airport had a little trouble finding the hotel. It is called Ermita but in reality the hotel is a few blocks south in Malate. Once we figured the problem we found the hotel right away. Nice, clean and new with the 7-11 on the street level. Hotel staff are top notch. One piece of luggage was inadvertently left in the cab and the doorman tracked the cab and called incessantly until the luggage was returned. Check in was effortless and all was described along with a fine view of Manila harbor. There are several restaurants within a 2 block area and although there are some local bars we never felt unsafe. Robinsons Mall is only a few minute walk down typical Manila streets and the water front park made for a great morning stroll. Do I recommend to a friend? Yes already have. Will I stay again? Already booked.

The hotel was nice, clean and air conditioned Sssssssssssssssssssss

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

My mom and my sister stayed in this hotel from the stars until we left for USA. We enjoyed our stayed here. All employees are very accommodating. It's a 110% recommendable for all traveler's.

When we arrived we only booked for 2 nights. Because this place was so nice and nearby convenient stores, we booked 2 rooms until we leave for the USA. This place is a 110% percent recommendable. We enjoyed our stayed here in HOP INN HOTEL ERMITA. We will definitely come back to this hotel.
