We stayed one night on a park and fly deal booked through Holiday Extras. Paid £89.10 for overnight stay and 8 nights parking. Included in the price was a taxi to and from the airport. So much easier than what we've done previously where you've to move your car in the morning to a Jet Parks car park - not great on a freezing January morning! Hotel easy to find, plenty parking spaces and a swift check in. We went to our room, really spacious and well equipped. Recently refurbished I would expect. We headed down to the bar for a drink and something to eat. Fish and chips for my husband, a club sandwich for me and a couple of beers each. The staff in the bar were lovely and staff passing by our table smiled and greeted us. A comfortable nights sleep was had before checking out. Our taxi came on time as promised the night before and took us straight to the terminal. We didn't have breakfast as we left the hotel early for our flight but if the food the night before was anything to go by then I'd imagine it would be nice. There's a pool etc at the hotel which we didn't have time to use but will plan to arrive earlier next time to visit. I would recommend this hotel for park and fly. The service and facilities were super. A nice start to our holiday. We will definitely stay again next time we fly from Manchester.

A small group of us spent Christmas at the hotel and we ate in the bar and the Cast Iron Grill for breakfast and dinner. Anton was charming on the reception desk. The staff members were all incredibly attentive and Christian and Shasha looked after us very well in the restaurant. One waiter there, however, Billa, was particularly helpful when it came to ordering both food and wine which went down well with 90 year old mother who was with us. The Sea Bass was great and so were the steaks. Don Jacobo Spanish wine very pleasant and not too pricey for such a hotel.

We stayed here overnight before our flight to Orlando. This hotel is lovely. Family rooms are huge and very clean. The buffet breakfast was also very good would definitely recommend and only 5 min drive from airport.

Rooms have been renovated and this adds to a much more pleasurable stay. Modern feel and beds pillows are now comfortable Hallways have also been updated The navigation around the hotel is still virtually impossible and the signs are confusing Check in is still painful and takes forever Lounge service is good but the food was limited; just noodles

We arrived just after midday and were warmly welcomed at the front desk by Pierre, who made sure that we had early access to our rooms and kindly escorted us to them. As a lifetime platinum elite member, we were upgraded to executive rooms without having to ask. Our recently refurbished accommodation was attractive, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It featured very comfy king beds, lots of pillows and fast wifi (though the bluetooth link didn't work). The executive lounge to accompany the evening happy hour. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant near the lobby and the pleasant bar. Breakfast offered a huge choice of options (just one area for improvement: check that plates at the buffet are hot enough) and the dinner menu was extensive and enjoyable. The restaurant staff were very nice and professional, especially manager Chris and Billa, both of whom were very attentive and made our party feel welcome.

The hotel is up to the speck you would expect of a Marriott. Gym, exec lounge restaurant etc. My room was about 25 for long and 15ft wide. It can be a bit of a maze though as you can walk from reception in a circle and get back again. Without knowing you have walked in a circle. Parking is expensive and uses the damned parking eye company, the less said about them the better. Parking is expensive.

We have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions which has always being fabulous but this time they let them selves down. We booked to stay one night with 2 weeks parking prior to fling out for holiday as we normally do. As Marriott members you can book in early and we normally do this so we can go into Manchester for the afternoon. We arrived at reception just before 1345 and as soon as I spoke at reception I was informed that check in was 1600, I advised that as a member we can normally book in early but I understand if the room not available could we leave our luggage and book in later when we return. The gentleman then proceeded to ignore me and type an email. After two minutes he asked for our booking ref then said as we member could book in early if room ready. Room ready and allowed to book in in but not a great front of hotel experience and felt like I was told off for arriving early. Room was excellent as always and great to be able to leave car in hotel car park. We returned from Manchester at 1900 as we planned to eat in the main hotel restaurant as we always do when we stay. We changed and arrived at the resteraunt at 1930 to be told they had a coch party in and the earliest they could seat us was 2130. Was disappointed I had not been advised on boking in and never had to do this on all of our previous visits. we decided to eat in the main bar area rather than head in to hale or back to Manchester. When we sat down I looked around and everyone one had jackets on which we thought a bit strange, however after 3 or 4 minutes we realised why as freezing in the area. We had to go and get our jackets and a first for us wearing jackets while eating in a bar/restaurant. Food was to a good standard and the gentleman taking orders and looking after us did a fantastic job as quiet a few couples in the same position of not being able to eat in the main restaurant. He got a portable radiator which helped a little bit. Staying again in a few weeks before we go away so hoping it has improved!!!

Great hotel with nice rooms good food and near airport. Recommend for a pre holiday stay. Stayed twice now. Car pearling is 15 I think we are gold elite so got upgraded to suite which was very nice. Executive lounge does good free breakfast and evening drinks and nibbles. Seems quiet and many rooms recently renovated.

We stayed here on a stay and park package.From start to finish everything was fine. Ample places to park,a very welcoming receptionist,a room not to far away,and on time taxi transfers. The bedroom was spacious,with a comfy bed and pillows......and a bath in the bathroom!! We didn't eat at the hotel,we took a cab into Hale,where there are some very good bars and restaurants. We will definitely return!

Myself and my partner booked last minute to stay here prior to an appointment in the area the following morning. The receptionist was pleasant although never really explained about the facilities on offer where breakfast would be etc. Overnight parking was £11. I felt they could have included this is the booking charge as I don't feel this particular Marriott lives up to the other marrriots! The rooms were very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. You were supplied with some toiletries. A big tv. The Bluetooth did not work on the tv though. We also found out that because we had paid by debit card we would have to go to the reception everytime we needed extras. No payments could be taken over the phone from out room! Therefore we couldn't watch any movies as they were pay per view and there was no free Wi-Fi in the rooms!! I think not having free Wi-Fi is very poor!! We ate in the restaurant by the bar. One of the waiters was extremely sarcastic but luckily this wasn't offensive to our personalities although I no some others wouldn't have found his wording humorous. The good was pleasant but expensive for what was served. There was also a 10% service charge added to out bill. I also don't feel for the limited time we were there £5 service charge was worthy. The breakfast was delicious! Plenty of food and choices for everyone. All in all the stay was ok but I don't feel it was similar to other Marriott hotels. It let the side down
