Our trip was a week-end getaway in Madrid. The hotel was booked via booking.com. The property looked, like most Vincci hotels, very stylish from the on-line pictures. Very detailed description. However, once we got to the property, things were slightly different. First of all the building next door is completely gutted. It is undergoing reconstruction works and has its façade fully covered with plastic. There was absolutely no mention of this on their websites even though this work has been ongoing for more than a year. A good thing is that the work has been stopped for a few months already, so there was no noise! The property itself looks superficially nice, but when you get closer there are signs of wear & tear and lack of proper maintenance. I travel often and noticed this to be a trend for Vincci properties. They need to review their refurbish velocity practices. They tend to wait too long. Our room was small, stylishly appointed yet ergonomically awkward. The television for example was on top of the mini-bar furniture, which put it too high for normal viewing from the bed. The bathroom had 2 floor tiles that were loose. The bathtub had bathroom scum and mold on the silicone caulking. And last but not least, the air conditioning was not cooling sufficiently during the night. All in all minor things that can be easily fixed yet cause significant negative impact on the stay experience. The staff is friendly and helpful which is nice to see.

Spotlessly clean rooms and common areas, comfortable bed (pillows could be larger), helpful service from all the staff, and most of all - a great location - so a ten minute walk to the Prado, 15 to Reina Sofia, the Chueca district just above the Gran Via, and just below the hotel, the Literary Quarter. Rooms are European small and I was glad that I booked a terrace room with a comfortable seating area outside. Good-sized bathroom and nice bathtub/shower with rainforest shower head. Only complaint would be that there is no coffee maker/kettle in the room and it would have been lovely to sit outside with a coffee in the morning. This would not prevent me from staying again but it would just add to the comfort of the room. There was a taxi strike the day we arrived and I very much appreciated how promptly staff responded to my inquiries and with the recommendation for the Aeropuerto bus, which was just fine and only 5 euro. Daniel at Reception was so very helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff, location is great as you are walking distance to a lot of the main sights for Madrid. Rooms are clean and tidy, modern furnished, even if they are a bit on the small size, and have all required amenities for a pleasant stay.

the vincci centrum was an absolut highlight. It doesn't feel like a hotel it feels like home. From the interior design, the friendly staff and the nice breakfast. Thanks for all your efforts. I would definitely come back

The Vincci Centrum at Calle Cedaceros is just a pearl in Madrid - perfectly located to see all places by walk and extremely friendly and supportive staff. The Rooms are large, super clean and comfortable. The surrounding is perfect for shopping or going out and enjoy the nightlife

Excellent location. Walking distance from plaza del Sol and very kind staffs. Perfect sound proof and very nice bath room, excellent room service. Strongly recommend to stay the hotel if you are looking for good hotel in Madrid.

The central location puts you in walking distance of museums, the city shopping and more. Although old the rooms are very comfortable with all conveniences. Air conditioning, mini bar, stocked bath rooms, TV, wifi are available. I slept very well. The breakfasts are fantastic with a good selection of hot and cold food. Reception staff were helpful. A comfortable stay overall.

This hotel is a bit old. The concept of interconnecting rooms is different then other hotels. They gave me a section that is separated with a door. They wrote on their website that they have babysitting services but when i reach the hotel i did not find it. The staff tried to help and they called a company. This company charges 30 euros/ hour with a minimum of 3 hours and send non proffessionals ladies

We spent 3 nights at the Vincci centrum in early March. Staff are nice and friendly. Check inn was smooth and swift, Rooms are spacious clean modern and have king-size beds. The hotel is in a good location and ideal for anyone wanting a long weekend in Madrid.

This hotel is in the city centre or you could say on one of the busiest roads in Madrid. My room was at front of hotel, traffic continuous through the night. Street bins emptied at 1am. Staff friendly & helpful. Room clean with all facilities but noise too much!
