Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet, clean rooms, nice decoration and from our room we had a wonderful view! Also near to the Metro - station Cuzco, about 5 minutes away. It was as good as we expected!
We spent five glorious days at the NH Collection Eurobuilding Hotel in Madrid. The rooms are well appointed and beautiful and the bathroom large and modern. The breakfast each morning consisted of nearly 100 items - from eggs, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, several different cheese and meats, pastries and the best vegetable torta anywhere. It is very close (5 mins) from the Cuzco metro station makes it convenient to any location in and around Madrid.
Everything, since we crossed the doors, were amazing. Rooms are clean and neat, social areas are beautiful, people are more than kind and the breakfast is incredible. Front desk people are always aware of your whishes and help you with anything you want to do do.
A very modern hotel with excellent sized room close to good restaurants and supermarket. Quiet, clean and comfortable. A spacious and well decorated lobby with an active vibrant feel to it. I would return again.
It was our first visit to Madrid. We had tickets for the Real Madrid v Girona match, and we picked this hotel because of its closeness to the stadium. It’s less than a 10 minute walk. There’s a good few restaurants and bars in the area. It’s less than 30 minutes from the airport. Easy check in, and reception staff were helpful with info on transport links to the city centre. The number 150 bus stops right outside and goes to Sol. The breakfast buffet was amazing - literally anything you could think of - from smoothies, wheatgrass shots, pastries cereals. There’s a chef cooking hot food to order. We had drinks in the bar after the match - the waiting staff were lovely. Our room was modern and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I found the bathroom layout strange - no closing door in from the hallway to where the sink and wardrobe area and mostly clear glass. So even with the blinds closed it’s was possible to see through from the bedroom area. Same with the door to the toilet and shower area. The shower was great though. So overall I thought the hotel was super - staff we met were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay again.
Clean, spacious rooms (especially for Europe). Close to many restaurants, bars, and soccer stadium. The gym (to which locals have memberships) was nicer than any hotel gym I've ever seen. Large rainhead shower. Outstanding breakfast buffet, and reasonably priced glass of Rioja in the hotel bar (Eur. 4.5).
Situated about 15 minutes from the airport, this is a clean and modern hotel that caters for tourists and business alike. It has spacious and modern rooms, some innovative design touches that give it more interest than the usual hotel box-room. Service was excellent on my visit, bar can get crowded and clears out at about 9pm as people go to eat. Prices are reasonable, breakfast was very good, lifts can get bust at 8am / 7:30pm and 11:30pm, so sometimes there can be a lot of people moving around then. Overall very good.
I was in Madrid due to training from work. This hotel was booked by them. Overall the hotel is luxury. The room looked amazing. It was well kept, clean and bright. It was a nice contemporary modern looking room. My bathroom had a bidet and the shower temperature was perfect. I was there for two weeks and overall the hotel was okay. My shower did leak at one point, but it was fixed by the end of the day. My friend who was staying in the room next to me had more problems. Her ceiling leaked during the night and her blinds use to close itself. They were controlled by a remote so somehow they closed automatically at night. For someone sleeping this was slightly frightening. Everything about my room was clean other than my remote. It had some dirty bacteria or dirt on it, like it was disgusting to hold. I ended up cleaning it with a makeup wipes before using it. It was an old remote and it had something stuck onto it. I avoided using the remote too much as it wasn’t nice to hold at all. The TV itself came with a HDMI cable, so me and a few friends decided to watch a movie, however this didn’t go as planned as the cable didn’t work. When we asked down at reception they pretended as if they didn’t know what a HDMI cable was. The WIFI in the rooms wasn’t any good, I wasn’t able to stream anything without it buffering every 2 seconds, was only able to send and receive a few emails. All our meals were included so we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. It was okay the first few day but the food became repetitive. Someone with dietary requirements such as myself, could not have the meat as it wasn’t halal. Therefore had to have the vegetarian options. There weren't too many of these and therefore had to struggle to have the same food on a day to day basis. I did enjoy the breakfast, only because I could get a fresh omelette made to my preference. However lunch and dinner were not too appealing, as some days they had the leftover food from lunch in dinner. For someone eating at the hotel day after day, eating the same food twice in the day wasn’t appetising. Later on during the week I found out that we could request a halal steak. When I did this, I was given a raw piece of meat. I like my meat well cooked, not red or pink and definitely not watery. After this I tried to avoid eating at the hotel and attempted to find a restaurant or takeaway outside the hotel. Again this was a struggle because most places didn’t even have vegetarian options. Even McDonalds only had meat options. We had to go to Madrid city centre to find one that had vegetarian burger. Over the course of the two weeks, I noticed that rooms were cleaned daily which was great. One of the days I was in my room during the day and realised that the house keeping do not knock before entering, they just walk in assuming no one is there. I found that slightly annoying as I would prefer for them to knock at least twice and wait for me to open the door. This happened on two different occasions. As I was there for work, I needed an iron that I would request from the reception. The first time I requested it, they left it in my room and I wasn’t in the room as I went for dinner. When I got to the room and found it, I was just about to iron, before a lady asks for it back saying my time has run out. I explained to her that I only just used it but she took it anyways. On top of that the iron was tiny. By tiny I mean it was one of those mini travelling irons stuck to an ironing board. Literally took forever to iron one shirt. Overall I liked my room, compared to other hotels that I've been at. This hotels was much more cleaner and modern. It looked up to date and nothing about it looked tacky. The only thing that was a disappointment was the food, the dirty remote and the timing on the iron.
We had a strange experience in this hotel. Excellent facilities, excellent breakfast, great room. As long as you don’t require any human interaction you will be fine. Check in was quick but done without a single smile. At check out a concierge accidentally let one of our heavy suitcases fall on my leg which I managed to catch. The staff’s response: good catch. What I also want to mention is that using the swimming pool in the hotel requires a spa day pass for about 25 Euros. This information is not specifically hidden on their homepage but I still wouldn’t have expected it.To be fair I do want to mention that waiters at the breakfast and the gym employees were friendly. As this hotel seems to cater to business people I couldn’t help but wander if this behavior was intended to not make it too attractive for tourists like us. If so, that’s fair, but then please clearly market yourself as a business focused establishment.
I have been in this Hotel in late May 2017 and also in 2015. The second visit was fairly disappointing for problems with the air conditioner and the slow response of the staff to my request to solve the problem. This time I had no problem. The room is tidy and large and the bed just perfect. Superb breakfast!
