Petit Palace Savoy Alfonso XII

Nice stay at Petit Palace Savoy. There's a few other Petit Palaces in the city. This one is right across from Retiro Park and 2 minutes from the Prado museum. Its just below the Salamanca district which is great for tourists to shop and eat. Not far from the Bank of Espana and Retiro Metro stops. There were 3 of us in the room and our daughter was happy that they rolled in a real bed for her - she'd been on pullout couches elsewhere. The room was a good size, which was helpful for 3, but could've used some more places to put clothes. Room was kinda funky looking in my opinion - decor-wise - but shouldn't be a reason not to stay there.

It was a great experience. We really like this hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite, it was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was a funny smell coming from the bathroom. We let them know about it, and they immediately sent somebody to fix the problem, but unfortunately the smell came back the next day. We had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times, Food was excellent and the staff super friendly and helpful. specially Ana at the front desk.

Good location especially for first time visitors. The famous museums, Retiro park, and fashionable Serrano and Velazquez shops all within walking distance.

We had a great stay In the Hotel, excellent location- Retiro Park directly across the street, close to Atocha train station, all three major museums are within walking distance. The Royal Palace is approx. a 15 minute walk also. The rooms are spacious and ours had a great view of Retiro Park, very cool vibe to the room and the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

The Petit Savoy was an excellent little gem in the best location you can imagine!!! Just in front of El Retiro Park, walking distance to El Prado and other museums as well as Serrano street! It is clean, beds comftable and with an exellent crew ok people. I don't reccomend to take the breakfast there.

fantastic hotel. rooms are great. staff super. great location near park. will definitely come back.

Great rooms , very helpful staff , large rooms very well equipped , but would have preferred a little larger tv screen , nice clean bathrooms , very modern , would have preferred better breakfast menu and wider selection on the room service . The location is excellent very close to both tourist bus routes .

Perfect location, near to the main attractions of Madrid. Rooms have good space and the hotel has only 4 years so the conditions of the hotel are great.

Comfortable family room, kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Showers were great, clean rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is in close proximity to the Prado museum and the Retiro park and walkable to the main shopping and restaurant area. Also, conveniently located close to the high speed Renfe Atocha train station. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on our first trip to Madrid and it couldn't have been better! The room was very clean and modern and the location was right next to the park and near 2 subway stations. It was ideal to everything that we wanted to do, including going out at night. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Madrid was the last city on our 3-city tour and this hotel was wonderful. We were 3 friends traveling together and had a room with a queen sized bed and a full sized pull out couch. The room in general was kept very clean and we got new towels every day. The shower in the bathroom was possibly the greatest shower on earth - overhead setting, hose setting, and horizontal body spray setting. The location was ideal - right next to the Parque del Retiro and within easy walking distance to the Prado and the Reina Sofia. All other must-sees were easily accessible too (we walked to the Royal Palace in about 20 minutes). The staff was very helpful and the value for our money was definitely worth it. Certainly recommend this hotel. Only con: Every time we came back to the room, we'd have to re-log into wi-fi. An annoyingly small price to pay for a great hotel.
