Room was clean, with soft beds. All the amenities in the bathroom were provided. we had the basic room so there were no microwave in the room.( while booking the room i could not find out about it) . could not adjust thermostat it was fixed on 24 degree. my wife had to open the window .We booked it because it was close to masjid i wanted to visit and halal food was near by. Buses for the center of city were at the front door of hotel.
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to the bull park. Room size is ok and amenities were clean. Breakfast was good with many choices. Toilet and sheets of room is what you would expect from a good hotel chain.
It seems unusual for a larger business class hotel to be located in a residential neighborhood like this. But it's a fine hotel. Just not super close to anything. About an 8+ minute walk to 2 different Metro stations and the same time to one of the main streets of Madrid. About an hour's walk to the Prado Museum with moderately busy sidewalks and traffic. Not a lot of tourist class restaurants nearby but quite a few small bar/cafeteria establishments. A short walk across the freeway/motorway (east) gets you to a moderately busy commercial area. Hotel room was typical of NH Hotels. Modern, comfortable, clean, reasonable size (not large) with nice amenities. Room has a second inside door which cuts out most sound from the hall or bathroom. Windows open wide enough for a good air circulation of you need fresh air. Central air conditioning is not operating in the cool season. Street noise is not too bad since it's on a one lane street but there is some street noise. Twin bed rooms are on the street side while queen bed rooms are on the back side.
Check-in was very fast and friendly. The room was a good size. Bathroom good with a nice shower. Minibar was well stocked though quite expensive. Television was disappointing as the only English speaking station was an American one and also RT was on it. Surely time for that to be consigned to the bin for a while. Breakfast again fairly expensive, though imaginatively laid out and with great service, and the food was excellent. The WiFi didn't work, and the aircon, though easy to operate, didn't really send out cool air. Plus points....great people working there, and a good room and bathroom.
Fantastic location, in a quite area of Madrid , near Salamanca. The people at the reception and the restaurant were amazing and helpful. The food was very good, tasty and well presented in very decent prices. Room, Bed, pillows and bathroom just amazing. More toiletry items would be useful rather than asking for them from the reception.
yet another pleasant stay at the NH Ventas in Madrid. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, especially Susanna, Zianya, Luis, Victor and Patricia who will go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable from the moment you enter the hotel until leaving. Great breakfast with the smiling faces of the restaurant staff Pilar and Sylvia. I will not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip
The location and facilities at this hotel are great. The staff is just amazing. They are friendly, helpful caring and considerate. They really make you feel at home. I went on business and had to run for breakfast early in the morning, but with the incredible service provided by the three ladies that take care of the breakfast buffet I was never late for work. The dinner team is also another superb group of people as well as the reception desk and room staff. They are always attentive and extremely helpful. It is very pleasant to be in a comfortable building with nice facilities, but the staff is the one that provides the soul experience that lasts a lifetime. Thank you guys!
Stayed for 5 nights on a city break. The hotel is conveniently placed 10 minutes walk to the Ventas metro station where the whole of Madrid can be reached. We got the metro link to the airport - really good. Didn't have the breakfast at the hotel preferring to go to the small bars in the area for a lovely cafe con leche and croissant. The hotel is clean but the walls are a little thin and noisy. Staff were wonderfully attentive and helpful.
A very good balance between value and quality of service. Nice location, quiet, cosy neighborhood, and close to the subway, conveniently situated between Alcala and Manuel Becerra. Recommended for all types of stay.
I LOVE coming back to this hotel. The staff are always so friendly, warm and welcoming. I’m a recovering cancer patient- been having lots of recon in Madrid at the M.D. Anderson Cancer centre. I always choose to stay here. The rooms are warm, welcoming and spacious. Certain staff stand out- Maria, Zianya and Lois on reception. My bar staff who provide me with drinks and food are, Cristina, Tara’s and Cristobal! They are superb 👍🏼. Lastly thI cleaver, probably the hardest worker - encarvi! She’s super polite and does a great job. Thank you NH ventas, I will be back 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
