yet another pleasant stay at the NH Ventas in Madrid. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, especially Susanna, Zianya, Luis, Victor and Patricia who will go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable from the moment you enter the hotel until leaving. Great breakfast with the smiling faces of the restaurant staff Pilar and Sylvia. I will not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip
The location and facilities at this hotel are great. The staff is just amazing. They are friendly, helpful caring and considerate. They really make you feel at home. I went on business and had to run for breakfast early in the morning, but with the incredible service provided by the three ladies that take care of the breakfast buffet I was never late for work. The dinner team is also another superb group of people as well as the reception desk and room staff. They are always attentive and extremely helpful. It is very pleasant to be in a comfortable building with nice facilities, but the staff is the one that provides the soul experience that lasts a lifetime. Thank you guys!
Stayed for 5 nights on a city break. The hotel is conveniently placed 10 minutes walk to the Ventas metro station where the whole of Madrid can be reached. We got the metro link to the airport - really good. Didn't have the breakfast at the hotel preferring to go to the small bars in the area for a lovely cafe con leche and croissant. The hotel is clean but the walls are a little thin and noisy. Staff were wonderfully attentive and helpful.
A very good balance between value and quality of service. Nice location, quiet, cosy neighborhood, and close to the subway, conveniently situated between Alcala and Manuel Becerra. Recommended for all types of stay.
I LOVE coming back to this hotel. The staff are always so friendly, warm and welcoming. I’m a recovering cancer patient- been having lots of recon in Madrid at the M.D. Anderson Cancer centre. I always choose to stay here. The rooms are warm, welcoming and spacious. Certain staff stand out- Maria, Zianya and Lois on reception. My bar staff who provide me with drinks and food are, Cristina, Tara’s and Cristobal! They are superb 👍🏼. Lastly thI cleaver, probably the hardest worker - encarvi! She’s super polite and does a great job. Thank you NH ventas, I will be back 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent meeting room. Included coffee machine. Minor problem with the heating system (could not be regulated, and required calls to reception.) Excelent food during lunch (buffet), with Spanish specialities. Excelent service (gracias Estefania!)
Lovely hotel with very helpful staff, our room on the top floor was spacious and clean, the quality of bed linen, towels and pillows is up there with top hotels. Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and even at peak times, like Sunday morning, fresh plates of food kept coming out. As far as the location is concerned, is not central, but it is very easy to get around (metro station very close) but also with a taxi rank outside you can reach Goya or Serrano very quickly for under 10 EURO. For us it has been a great find (through family friends' recommendation) and we will book it again.
Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights recently and enjoyed our stay. It is about a kilometre or so from Ventas metro station . The ladies and gentleman at reception were very friendly and efficient and booking in was grand. The rooms are normal hotel type but very clean. We were on the 7th floor and on our final day the floor was cleared due to some problem. The ladies at reception had told us on booking in that this would be the case and we were changed to the 3rd floor for the final night. Breakfast was very good with many types of breads, cheese, meats, eggs sausages and fruit together with coffee, teas (many choices) yogurts. On checking in the lady at reception gave us a voucher for a drink each at the bar on 1 night. After ordering drinks and producing this voucher(Compliments of Booking.com) the bar lady informed me that my drink a cardhu scotch was not covered by the voucher. As the voucher did not indicate that certain drinks were excluded but in order to avoid a confrontation I paid €15 for this scotch(bottles can be bought in town for €24) and asked what inferior drink the voucher covered and was given a JB scotch that the lady said was priced at 11.50. Luckily I had not ordered a JB rare that turned out to be €55. People should be made aware that only certain drinks are covered by these vouchers as it is cheaper to drink out on the town than to be charged these very high rates in the hotel bar
Right next to Las Ventas and a subway station but about 10 minutes cab ride from downtown. The hotel is very clean and looking good. The service was fast and friendly. The only negative aspect are the room doors, they do not block noise comming from the hallway enough. I was located in front of an elevator and could hear it ding everytime someone was using it. Very good expericence overall and would go back without hesitation.
We spent 4 nights at the NH Madrid Ventas. It's excellent. Located a few minutes walk from Ventas stop station (red line) which takes you to the center of town, stop El Sol. You can even walk along La Calle de Alcala, which is quite nice, but at least 30-40 mins to town. Madrid is very well connected via metro, and you can buy a 2, 3, 5, 7-day travel card, which allows you to use the buses/trams, and commute from/to the airport. We bought 5 days for £25 at the airport, great deal. You can reach the hotel from the airport via metro, not a long a ride. Barajas airport is not far from the city. The area of the hotel is residential, it feels quite safe to walk at night, and it's a short walk to the station. The rooms are very clean, something that I value a lot. They are small, but the bathrooms are large. You get all what you need in terms of space and facilities for a city break. The hotel is really nice decorated, with a neutral and modern feel. The breakfast is wonderful, absolutely delicious, and the service great. You can order your eggs to the carte. A great stay. We will consider staying at another NH hotel after our experience.
