Stayed for three nights and couldn’t really find much to fault it. Rooms were adequate and really comfortable beds. Average bathroom, perhaps starting to look a little tired in places but a good hot powerful shower. We were on the 5th floor and did find the traffic noise a little loud, but we do live in a very quiet village so not used to a lot of noise. Also you are staying in a very busy city so noise has to expected. Staff were pleasant and helpful when we needed some assistance with a kettle that didn’t work. There are tea making facilities in the room. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as we thought at €15 this was rather expensive. We found a lovely bar a short walk away for breakfast which was far more reasonable. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
Great hotel, nice and clean room. Not in the city center but walkable and close to metro stations. Internet is not very fast but it works. My only issue with the hotel was that I didn't feel welcome, not one person at the front desk ever said hi or bye when I entered or exited the hotel... which is the kind of thing you would expect from a boutique hotel... Other than that I think it is a great choice.
We stayed three nights in this clean, quiet, nice hotel and were very satisfied. The metro stop CANAL is 5 blocks away (4-5 minute walk with bags) and the room was more spacious than we expected. We stayed in room #501. This is a delux room with air conditioning and a lovely little full balcony. We paid $93 a night from booking on Trip Advisor. The bathroom is large and has a full tub/shower combo. The sleeping area actually can be closed off from the small "foyer" and bathroom so if someone is showering in the am it is still very quiet. There is a hair dryer and bidet in the bathroom as well as small bar of hand soap, bath gel, shampoo/conditioner combo and lotion - all travel size. The room also has an electric water kettle for tea or coffee. We arrived at 9:30 am and the hotel was full so we could not check in until 3:00pm but they held our luggage for us while we explored Madrid for a few hours. The staff was very helpful and all had quite good English. Bed was comfy and all linens were clean and soft. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend less than $100 a night.
I stayed at this hotel for a conference at the UNED, which was a pleasant 40 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel had everything I needed - good wifi, a nearby metro stop, and with easy access to the center of the city. The room was small but had everything I needed, including a teapot with tea and coffee (although it is not replenished). The neighborhood is quiet and safe with plenty of stores and restaurants. The staff was very helpful- providing me with exact directions to the conference, arranging late checkout since I had an evening flight, and answering all my questions. I would definitely stay here again.
Very close to city centre hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Had all our questions answered when we needed help. Very quick check in and check out and they can help with shuttle or taxi to airport too. Not offering dinner but few restaurants are available on the same street or Lidl available on the back of the hotel. Pretty quiet rooms apart from one shop opening their shutters at 4am but not very bothering at all. Has all amenities required and it is very clean as well. Would definitely use the same chain in other locations as well!
I had a room with a rooftop and it was amazing place to chill out after a busy day. The breakfast is ok albeit very limited. Rooms are very small but very clean and staff are friendly. its a small hotel so having the room with a rooftop makes all the difference especially on a very hot summer day.
Very comfortable, clean and modern hotel. Staff very friendly. Breakfast perfect. Near to Metro station and to Bus line 2. Roms are are conditioned and the beds are vey comfortable. Around the hotel may be found, as everywhere in Madrid, nice bars.
Our trip to Spain included spending a few days in Madrid visiting family. The Leonardo was very convenient for our needs. Friendly staff, well stocked continental breakfast, the hotel caters to a mix of business and leisure travellers. North Americans, beware, the room sizes are not what you are accustomed to. If you unpack carefully, you will be able to enjoy Madrid!
Staff need to be trained to be service and client oriented. Hotel needs to be improved to reach the min of a 3* standard. Rooms are quite small with too much useful furniture in the room. No information given on hotel in room or at reception. Could not register my miles and more card although advertised as a member at the reception. Disappointed
Too much noise from room to room. You can clearly hear people in adjacent rooms closing doors, going to the bathroom, opening the windows... The shower was great with a lot of pressure and good heat. Soap/shampoo is poor quality Beds were very comfortable and the room included a new large HDTV, which was great
