I was charged for coffee that was never available. A refund was requested and a response has not been given.
Great location, close to Metro, Atochu train station, Museums and Retiro park. Friendly and helpful staff. We did not have hot water our last day at the apartment. Fully staffed kitchen. If you’d like to order breakfast you have to do it the night before, no breakfast on premises. There is daily housekeeping. Plenty of cafes and other breakfast choices around. Overall we were happy with our accommodations.
Great apartment across the street from Atocha Renfe rail station, walking distance to Prado and Thyssen museums, and right in front of Atocha metro entrance. Only minus was the low-hanging lamp in the dining area - very dangerous location, as we bumped our heads into it several times during our 2 day stay. Hotel must raise this lamp as it is very dangerous to have at that low level.
We checked in late after office was closed. The office staff did not leave the "heat" card with us or provide any information about the heat. The next day, my husband went to the office and was given the heat card. However, he did not "install" the heat card properly and so we had no heat for a second night. Finally, on the 3rd day, we were able to properly have heat in the unit. Please note, it's a beautiful unit and a great location but it was very cold without heat.
