Stayed for four nights. Triple room was not spacious, but service, amenities and the bathroom were very good. Also it is located near the city center, so all the attractions, like museums and central squares are within walking distance. Also the staff in the reception speaks english. Do not underestimate this factor, because almost no-one in Spain speaks english (not even the policemen in the airport. So bak to the hotel. Conclusion: i recommend it

Great location for restaurants, access to the Metro, easily to walk to other areas, very safe. The lobby is welcoming, the reception staff helpful, the rooms are great very clean with lovely facilities. Breakfast isn't included but ther are great cafes close by where you take watch the world go by. Highly recommended.

we recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in late June. The check-in was straightforward, and the room on the 6th floor overlooked the street to the front of the hotel. It was well appointed, with a very large king-sized bed, and although facing the road was not overly noisy. the bathroom and walk-in shower were of a good standard, and the facilities included a full-size hair dryer. The air conditioning was adequate and not too noisy. We did not eat in the hotel, as we were visiting relatives and therefore ate out. The public areas were very clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel is well located for sightseeing around central Madrid, most attractions are within reasonable walking distance, however there was a convenient Metro station, for when the legs were getting tired. Plan to use this hotel again, for a future visit later in year.

This hotel is in the residential area but still one big and classy. I reached from metro and then walking by however there was another exit just out side the hotel. The rooms are big unlike most of european hotel and breakfast spread is good. This is definitely worth the money and excellently located in heart of the city.

Lovely hotel, clean and tidy rooms with free Wi-Fi , we didn't have the breakfast here as it wasn't included so ate chocolate con churros at a local restaurant. The METRO station Alonso Martinez is only a 2 minute walk away also. The hotel allowed us to check in just after 12 also which was very helpful. The rooms all had air conditioning which kept everyone cool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was fast and in all rooms - overall very good value for money and comfortable and tidy....great base to stay in for going exploring Madrid....very happy with the hotel....

Nice hotel at a good price. This is in a lovely area of town with many restaurants nearby. We got there very early due to an overnight flight and could not check in, but went for breakfast in their breakfast room and waited in the lobby until a room was available. Good size with a nice bathroom. Staff helpful but not terribly friendly. Helped my husband with a phone problem tho --- directed him to a store which had just what we needed. Breakfast for nine euros which was convenient before starting out touring

I rented 3 rooms for the family and the only good thing they have is the bathrooms and it is located in a real good neighborhood. Here is how I can describe all 3 rooms. Pizza oven, sauna and steam bath take your pick if this is the kind of place you want to stay. The manager on duty told me that the AC was working but not to my standards. I just wanted Some cold air or something to blow through the vents in the AC. The staff is not friendly at all!!!. We spent 4 nights in the hotel and it was hot, dated and has a bad smell. Customer service is none exciting here. My daughter left her wallet and passport in the safe and did not noticed until we checked in Barcelona. We called and asked if they can mail the passport and the wallet and they told us that they don't have that kind of service. I offer to pay for all the expenses since it was our mistake and they still told us that if we wanted our stuff we had to go pick it up in person. Thanks to the great staff at Hotel Casa Foster in Barcelona that were able to take care of the pick up and delivered of the wallet and passport to our room. Now Hotel Casa Foster knows how to take care of the customers. If you are traveling to Madrid please save your money and do not stay at the Gran Versalles Hotel in Madrid unless you want a hooot room and decor from the 60's.Wifi is really slow or doesn't work at times.

The hotel is located closed to Plaza Colon and Puerta de Alcalá. There are a few coffee shops and banks at a walking distance. The staff is very friendly. The beds we got were full size, hence if you want a queen size bed, they bring them together. The hotel has breakfast for 9 Euros, but you can go out and in a few minutes get a delicious breakfast for less than 4 Euros. I recommended if you are planing a short stay.

1) Hotel is very near to metro station 2) They have a lot of options in breakfast 3) They have luggage room as well 4) They will guide you for tourism in Spain and if you want to go for any activity 5) They have room services

Hotel in a good area, not far away from all main attractions, and metro station near by. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, and in good size. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and fast WI-FI.
