I had a bit mixed feelings. The check in was good and the young lady was very nice, polite and professional. And there was more: we even got a suite with a price on two bed room! The breakfast was like it should be: nothing special but enough to meet the standards of **** hotel. Check out was slow and a staff member - in between yawns - was unsure of what to do when I wanted to leave our luggage in the storage for a few days. So, I had to run back and forth between the reception desk and the storage with documents.

My grandmother (80 years old) and me arrived at the hotel at 7.00 AM. They said they couldn't give us the key until 11 AM. It's 1PM and we still have no room, they dont care about guests or their necessities.

It is not a bad hotel, and I might stay there again especially because it is very well connected to metro, trains and the airport. However, the rooms don't have tea/coffee and a kettle, which are almost a standart all around the world. For the price we've paid the room was too simple and the lack of mentioned amenities was noticed. Staff, by the way, was great.

I really enjoyed the rooms & the hospitality of the staffs, most of them only speak or understand Spanish, the only problem I had was with my food and there is no Indian Cusine but underneath this hotel, we find train station, cabs etc it's highly recommended for business meets.

Very nice hotel. It has great amenities. Specially if you are with your loved one, with family and/ or friends. The train is really close to the hotel so you can take it and get to the center of the town. I frankly recommend.

I booked it 2 years ago for my first vacations in Madrid. The people thereare very friendly but the hotel seemed very old at that time and they had construction work during that time, however, I didn't care because I was in the city all the time. When I came back this year, I was very surprised how the hotel has changed. It's now very modern and nice. The hotel is very well connected it doesn't take long from the airport to get there. It takes about 20 minutes to get by Metro into the city centre but if you take the Cercanías it's much quicker. If you want to do trips to cities nearby the hotel is perfect since it's directly at the train station.

Good location and good service. The rooms are clean and nice. Te advantage to stay here is the perfect location for the turist who want explore the city. I like very much the place, the service and the facilities.

We had a connecting room with two bathrooms. On one side, the shower was not enclosed. If you weren't careful, the water would flood into the bedroom. The other bathroom had a conventional tub. We ended up constructing a "dam" out of towels to prevent any flooding. The rooms themselves were extremely basic. The lighting was extremely poor. The shades on one room didn't work. The location was so-so. It took a while to get to the center of Madrid even by the excellent Metro. The only positive was that the breakfast was good.

This really spoiled us for our entire trip. The rooms were nice and cozy. Good size bathrooms. A great bar/pub with the best breakfast for the entire group. The location is right on the metro line which makes for an easy transit to and from the city. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. I've stayed here twice and have enjoyed it both times.

The good point - it was clean and a decent sized room. The rest - lousy and ineffective aircon - even if there were any instructions as to how to work it but we tried every setting and eventually resorted to opening the windows - noisy. But the noise was nothing compared to the fact the place seemed to be a schoolkids hostel - one had the feeling that by location this would be a business hotel - but a massive (dis) organised group of kids - returned to their rooms past midnight and then proceeded to slam doors, shout and generally be disruptive for at least an 1 1/2 hours after that. The bathroom - loose loo seat and the door stop was exactly where you put your foot for certain purposes by the loo - just plain bad management. Was going to use the word "sloppy" about the management but see below re the scrambled eggs. Breakfast - OK I suppose - unpeeled orange quarters and unpeeled kiwi fruit quarters, not the finest coffee in this world and the scrambled eggs were sloppy to be polite. The state of the carpets on the stairs was not even mentionable - ripped and filthy. There was no ability to leave luggage for the day at the hotel - they wanted a E30 late checkout fee t5o leave it in the room - tip - just outside the railway station there is a left luggage facility where you can dump a number of bags in a large locker for under E6 a day. Given the room was not cheap for Spain and we had stayed earlier in the trip at a magnificent Petit Palace for a similar price further into the centre of Madrid with a much better breakfast and absolutely no trouble about leaving bags for the day I would rate this place as pretty unmentionable and certainly would never return.
