My friend and I were happy enough with the style of the place, but it was too far away from the center of Madrid, at the end of the metro line 1. It was very cheap for what it was, just a bit stuffy, if you take my meaning. The staff was ultra professional, and that is both a good and a bad thing: more than competent; and friendly, but in a completely insincere way.

The hotel is close to the airport by taxi, however it is not close to much else. The nearest Metro station is a good 15-20 min walk. It is located in a residential neighborhood so not really any restaurants or shops nearby. The hotel itself is nice, however Wifi can be spotty at times.

Everything was so perfect, very clean and spacious rooms.

Great hotel and if I have a chance to stay there again then I will!!! The view of the new city center with the mountains behind it was great from my room. The only drawback is a lack of a metro station close by but if you like to use a taxi there are always a few waiting outside the hotel.

Hotel is in a residential area nothing is nearby. Spy and Jim are very nice but other than breakfast buffet restaurant was just ok very basic food. The worst part is the AC in the rooms very difficult to figure out how to use and wasn't working properly

I had a good stay, the room was clean and the hotel is in a quiet area which is good if you want to get some rest.

For a 4 star hotel the room was very small with very little space. The TV didn't work and the internet got disconnected every 10 minutes. Decoration and cleaninless was good, it is located in middle of nowhere but the metro was near (about 15-20 minutes walking)

The first night of our stay was uncomfortable. The bed was so hard that I ached in the morning. I told the staff and during the day while we were out seeing Madrid, they changed AND UPGRADED the mattresses, changed the shower curtain, provided brand new bathrobes, made the beds up with gorgeous, soft, new sheets, and left chocolates on our pillows! I don't think I'll ever experience service like this again. The second night we slept in incredible comfort and awoke feeling refreshed. This hotel management and staff take customer comments seriously. I am extremely impressed by their commitment to excellence. Thank you, Nuevo Madrid!

Great hotel. 10-15 minutes walk to metro but nice exercise. Staff was very accommodating. Loved it! I will stay there again.

We mainly just slept at the hotel, we did not take advantages of all the amenities. The hotel is in a great location.

A little off the main path, but easy access to bus and metro stations...best way to get around! Good base to get away from the busy downtown area, unless you plan to spend all your time in the city center anyway. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Excellent accommodations.
