Overall i think it was a pretty good vaklue for money. There are only two NEGATIVE points as i would rate it during my stay. The first night we stayed in a room whcih had a HORRIBLE Ac. We moved out to another room the next day. The second negative point was the non-English speaking staff at the bar plus she was not courteous. The plus points are cooperative staff at reception, good breakfast,
Spent two nights here as it is close to my companies location. Overall nice hotel although it looks a little worn. Carpets were dirty in the rooms and furniture in the lobby was very worn. Service was great though. Lobby bar served great Gin & Tonics. Breakfast was good as well. If you do not have business in this part of town I wouldn't stay here. But if you do, this hotel is fine.
Good location. The restaurant is really good. Just wished they had more amenities like a pool since the weather is blazing hot in Spring! The staff is professional and kind. Shower door is sort of bizarre because the water gets all over the floor. Rooms are very clean.?
One of the most insane hotels I have ever been without any sense of service. No service on the terrace, can only have lunch inside and the most ridiculous: I arrive with my Spanish speaking colleague who on my behalf arranged check-in. When I then ask for his room number so I can call him, she calls his room but refuses to give his room number!! On top of that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and has no pool/ nothing. This would not have been my choice: be aware.
While not in the centre of the city it is an ideal location for both of the above. The metro with its easy access to the city is only a 10 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and clean and the buffet breakfast offers a great selection to start your day. Friendly and helpful staff complete the package for a value for money accommodation in Madrid.
This hotel is not for the typical tourist, its for high class only. They do not have airport shuttle. The Metro is 1 mile away, and a taxi will cost you 40.00 Euros to and from the airport. Their buffet breakfast is 17.00 euros, and there are no stores or shops or resturants around. Don't waste you money, your transportation cost will be more than your hotel room.
Hotel was perfect for us although being a little way out would not suit everybody. We were charged a different price each time we travelled from Charmartin Station to the Hotel. Once it was 6 Euros but on our last night we were charged 12.40 Euros and had a blazing row with the taxi driver and got the hotel receptionist involved . He knew that he had gone round and round and he was caught out but we had to pay up. Next time I will call the police. Most of the taxi drivers are honest and fair but this one was not.
Hotel is 15/20 minutes away from the airport. Rooms are big, nice and clean with very good internet access and good choice of TV channels. I had a room service and they were very quick for delivery and the food was good. Not close to Madrid city center but perfect if you have a business trip in this area and don't want to spend time in traffic jam. Free access to fitness room
I recently stayed at Hotel Nuevo Madrid for 2 days. The service was freindly and inviting. The food was delicious and they were very accomodating. My boyfriend stayed their previously and we came back because the great service. I will be coming here again for my next trip to Madrid.
Highly recommended hotel! A bit far away from the centre but not a problem. Excellent breakfast, very quite, nice place for eating in the afternoon. Book early and get a price that you have never imagined before.I will defiately come back!
