Small modern hotel. surrounded by small neighborhood restaurants. far from center but close to several metro stations. small gym. superior room is big and satisfying. breakfast room turns into lobby lounge

I stayed here for two nights while on business in Madrid. It's tucked away but it was a good spot. The room was very modern and was clean. Good wifi and all the amenities. The front desk was helpful with directions and finding transportation. I'd stay here again.

First time I’d stayed in this hotel (I normally go round the corner to the Abba) and the experience was good. They obviously consider themselves a small hotel (having said that there must be quite a few rooms) Decoration modern and attractive much like other ACs I’ve been to. Friendly reception. Room small but attractive. Big comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with a bath big enough for me to stretch out in. Had a good nights sleep and a pleasant breakfast in the restaurant where they seemed to have a good number of staff working who were helpful (tabasco no problem). I had a hamburger for dinner from the room service on one night which came quickly and was good enough. Only comment is that it has no bar which was a bit of a surprise.

Clean, friendly hotel in a great location in Madrid. About 20 mins from Del Sol. The best feature of this hotel is it's exceptionally friendly staff - they went out of their way to give us personal service.

A wonderful stay in the contemporary AC Hotel Avenida de America in central Madrid. The hotel has great proximity to one of the main bus terminals and the metro, which provided a great springboard for sightseeing during our weekend stay in the city. In the hotel itself, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary fast wifi and amenities were much appreciated. The room's heating system and very comfortable bed ensured that we enjoyed toasty, relaxing evenings in during our winter stay after long days of excursions and tapas-gorging. The breakfast was also decent with a range of hot items as well as pastries, fruits and cold cuts. The Espresso machine in particular provided an excellent start to the day! Simply put, a great cosy hotel - we hope to be back soon!

Tucked away down a small street the location might not seem inviting but the location is good for easy access to the airport and central Madrid. Plaza Mayor just 3.5 miles away. Close to a Metro station for easy down town access. If driving there is an underground car park at the rear but be warned, the entrance and parking bays are very tight. This is more of a business traveller hotel where a very basic buffet breakfast is available.

This is a very well maintained and well run hotel. I'd safely rate it 4 star. Building is new and all is spick and span. Room size is above decent. Bathroom excellent (except toiletries). No in-room safe but at the reception you can avail from one against EUR 25 safety deposit. Breakfast buffet was excellent in variety and quality though the menu was the same throughout my stay but all was fresh and tasty especially the Spanish tortilla. There is a mini-bar at the reception with homemade sandwiches and salads and basic confectionery. That came in very handy as surrounding area closes by 8:30 pm Staff were very friendly. Jesus at the reception was outstanding, he was very helpful and always went the extra mile. Nothing special about location but it is quite. Cartagena metro station is a 2 min walk. All in all, the hotel really exceeded my expectation and I am a returning customer.

We stayed here for three nights. This is a good hotel and we would stay here again. Very close to metro stations that will take you to Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Puerta de Alcala, etc. Breakfast is not included unless you have a package that includes it, however, there are lots of little cafes around with delicious breakfast items. Much cheaper than the breakfast at the hotel. One of the things that is bad about the hotel is that the floors in the rooms are made of wood so you will hear your upstairs neighbor click clack around the room as if they are in your room. Extremely annoying and lacking common sense by the hotel management. The rooms themselves are very nice. We stayed in a spacious room with separate living room. The bathroom was big and clean. The toiletries were plentiful and always replenished. They had little round soaps that took some getting used to though but they were very nice. The shower had very good water pressure. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. The windows had black-out-blinds, which was very good. The rooms and the bathroom were always very clean. The TVs do not have any English speaking channels, not even CNN or Sky News. They do have a few music channels. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

The hotel is quite nice and in a relatively good location. There are many good options for breakfast in the area if you do not feel like eating in the hotel. The hotel staff is nice, the rooms are clean. If you want you can even get some some on the kind of terrace if you do not mind getting out through window :) There are few tube station in a walking distance and you can get to the city center quite far. But be aware that for some lines you might need to walk good few minutes underground.

Comfortable AC hotel. It's location is good with easy access to two Metro stations. the street the hotel is in is not the best just set back off the main road. Standard AC setup but without the surroundings that some enjoy. It would have been good to have a safe in the room. Also at least one English channel (BBC world news or similar) would have been good. I will use again.
