This hotel is well located in Torrejon next to train station and opposite a pedestrian centre. We went across the road for breakfast and coffee . + comfortable bed (Business floor8) + shower + underground parking (charges apply) + quiet (except for noisy guest at 4 am) - safe did not work - fridge did not work - breakfast 10€ each Will probably stay again as compared to other hotels this is one of the better ones
I was there for 3 days in a Business room (8 floor). The room was nice and clean, also the bed comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the recepcionists were really kind. Also the shuttle driver, good man :) The bad point was the elevator... One was broken and making so much noise.. I couldn't sleep properly. Later they stop the broken one, but the new one still make some noise (the electrical panel). For that reason I rate so low this hotel.. until they change the elevator to a proper ones for 4stars hotel.
Great hotel for bussiness travel, or conferences. It is in the middle of the village. Nice rooms, with funcional bathroom. Friendly service. Closer to metro station. Differents restaurants in the same street.
Checking in was ok, however a bit impersonal and the staff seemed more busy with something else. Rooms was ok, large bathroom , huge bed, wardrobe , small desk and ok. Breakfast was less than ok but included in the price, but really more variation (fruit, muesli , warm eggs, berries etc ) would have been nice. Bus to airport is available but has to be booked. Small gym and sauna but no pool available ....
Hotel is fine, staff were ok, reception was fine, bar staff could do with a bit more of ... Our room smelt of smoke, cigarette smoke. Bathroom towels smelt as well. My mother is asthmatic NOT GOOD. Got to breakfast not much food, trays where empty and not refilled.
This hotel was extremely busy during our stay; yet the staff without fail tended to our every need - always ensuring that there was a sufficient amount of breakfast available, the rooms were well maintained. The maids worked extremely hard, but were always willing to stop and say 'good morning' the evening reception staff were a lot more welcoming than the morning staff! The bar staff were excellent!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hotel Asset Torrejon (room 802 - business class) +Clean non-smoking room +Free wi-fi (not good enough to stream movies) +Fridgerator, air-condition, safety box, tv with many channels (all spanish dubbed) +Hairdryer, soap, shaver, toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit, comb +Breakfast +No carpet +Good view +Small gym +Close to train station (30min to Madrid city centre, 2.6 euros one-way) +Grocery stores, restaurants, taxi zone and buses nearby. Carrefour 15min walk, Dia % Maxi 6min walk. +Bus number 4 (goes outside supermarket Dia % Maxi, 10min, 1.3 euros) to shopping mall Centro Comercial Parque Corredor. +35-40min walk to Parque Europa +Close to the airport (15min drive) -Bad sound isolation -Some staff not service-minded -Elevetor doors closes too quick, but will open if you get stuck anyway +/- Top floors 7 and 8 are business class, includes slippers and nigh robe. Breakfast rooms are seperated by business and normal (same food though, only better coffee machines). The bar/restaurant showed soccer/fotball on the big tv. Stayed here 2 different times, mid-september and october for business.
The staff is not very friendly and I think this is the thing they might need to work on. Further on, the room was very nice and clean which is very good! The bed quality was just so and so. The breakfast is big with a good amount of choice, but just keep in mind that this is rather sweet compared to northern countries are used to. I always took the train and then the metro to Madrid (takes about 20m) which is very cheap and the train comes very often.
Stayed here about a year ago and again last week. There are some changes. Top 2 floors are now dedicated to Bussiness class which incudes 4 star breakfast room and good breakfast with excelent coffee. You can also book as a 4 star guest but you have a 2 star breakfast experience. We stayed here when the hotel was full and they clearly couldnt cater with this amount of people for breakfast. Why? Because everyone was jammed into a sub standard breakfast room while bussiness class was empty. Breakfast. 1 coffee machine which wasn't functioning correctly. The first bartch of pastries were dry, clealy they were using up yesterdays leftovers. I stayed here 4 days and the same poor quality of breakfast was served everyday. In order to justify bussiness class expierence they have lowered the normal 4 star expierence to a 2 star breakfast expierence. Complained to the waiters but they were too rushed of their feet and showed no interest and were even rude to us. felt like cattle class... 20 minute wait to get a coffee... really in a 4 star! The room was ok with a large modern bathroom Hallways smelt of cigarette smoke. Free parking in a carpark on the otherside of the railway track under a low tunnel on the sidestreet at the back of the hotel. I probably won't star here again
I have just returned from a stay in the Hotel Asset as I working working nearby. The hotel was fine for my purpose, but would be rather limiting if you expected to be a tourist in Madrid. It is very close to the airport, although with airport taxi charging it will still set you back E35! - perhaps talk to hotel about getting picked up by a local driver. My room was on the 6th floor, away from any road/street noise, and given this is an industrial area, as well as residential is does keep moving long into the wee hours. Breakfast was a very strange affair. They had some sort of 'executive rate' which seemed to allow you to eat in a nicer place with nicer selection of food than those on a B&B rate. I got to have breakfast once, because they don't start serving until 8am on week days! - like I say.. strange. On my last nice i stumbled across the lower level bar where i enjoyed a beer will watching the soccer. Nice wee place. I also tried the food too, ordering a steak with chips. It arrived.. so the chips turned out to be an oily sliced potato, actually quite nice. The steak looked ok, but was cold - perhaps they the chef decided to place 4 grilled chillies on the top! (to warm it up). Anyway, all in all it was a pleasant stay, and I would return. However, depending on my commitments I would consider something closer to the centre. Finally a word about the staff.. very genuine and nice people - thanks
