First off all: the Hotel is placed very close to Puerta el sol and Grand Via..the location it s very good(5 stars). the outlook of the hotel it s not so good...the reception also..but the rooms were nice and clean the wifi is working in the reception(very good) and also in the rooms(poor connection..but ok) the only thing that was terrible it s the s a restaurant near the hotel..very close..but they don t give you nothing...the breakfast it s a tea or a coffe...and a croissant or a toast with butter and strawberry jam..that s dont book this hotel with s a waste of money!

Hotel has, as it is writen good location. It is in the center and you can go on foot where ever you want. Rooms are clean and bathroom are ok. Wifi is good in the room there is no mini bar so there is no fridge. In the hotel you dont have breakfast but you will find lot of bars around and fast food restaurants. All in all average 3 star hotel with good price.

I stayed at the hotel for one night because it offers good bang for your buck compared to others around the Gran Via. The location is not too bad and the staff is very friendly. The only issue I encountered; the AC wasn't working.

In the heart of Madrid! We had the air conditioner and TV in our room. The room was clean and the towels were replaced each day. We had a hair dryer in the toilet. Value for money, considering the location. But be aware that the breakfast is very very limited! Ask for a room on the sixth floor with terrace! It is perfect!

We stayed in hotel Anaco by the end of August 2016. First, the location is the best, just few minutes to Sol station and few seconds from Gran Via, easy to find. The receptionists were kind. We got room nr. 601 (we would like to thank the lady on the reception :) ), which is on the last floor and has terrace! The room was clean, not too spacious but the bathroom was huge, included hairdryer and basic toiletries. Air-condition was working fine (especially important in August in Madrid!), the bed was on a smaller side, only one cover on the bed (bad if your partner tends to steal it during the night). WiFi in the room was good. Room has flat TV and safe. The only disappointment was the breakfast. We booked the room with breakfast included and I am not sure is it worth it. So, you get a piece of paper as a voucher for a breakfast which is taking place in the restaurant next to the hotel (Restaurant Abrasador). For breakfast you can choose between toast/croissant, tomato spread/butter+jam, coffee/tea and you get a small glass of orange juice. We payed altogether 220 euros for 4 nights, which is ok taking into consideration the amazing location! I would highly recommend the restaurant which is near hotel (Restaurante Puerto Rico), perfect for lunch, quite cheap and tasty. You can get main course for around 4-5 euros, super if you are a budget traveller. PROS: location, location, location, room with terrace CONS: breakfast

Stayed with friends but just as good with partner or family. Cheap and cheerful - Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms which were tidied each day. Good location for the centre and short distance from the nightlife of Madrid. Minutes from the underground - great for short breaks

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the centre of Madrid and a couple of minutes from the underground. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was small but we had a large balcony which compensated for it. Ideal for a short city break and would highly recommend this hotel. Good value for money, bearing in mind you are in the centre of Madrid.

Nice clean room, plenty of space in the room, reasonably quiet. good price, really good location. Didnt use the tv so cant coment on that. The english speaking staff were really helpful, the non english speaking ones - not so much... Would use again.

Clean small room reasonable price and a great location to walk the whole central area For quick inexpensive tasty meals try Nostrum around the corner past Macdonalds--they don't speak english but pick a meal microwave it at the back and sit outside and enjoy There is also a large Mercado nearby

The hotel localization the his strongest point, near the subway... 3 minutes on foot to portas do sol and gran via... fantastica! The bedroom was clean and neat, the toilets were renovated and functional, they could be better in some details like decoration but its a great and acessible hotel for those who go to visit the city all day and want to return to the hotel just for bath and sleep. Make shure you get a bedroom on the 3th floor, even on the second the noise from the street was loud...
