I spent two pleasant nights at this hotel, and found it to be more than adequate. Friendly, knowledgeable front desk staff, exceptionally clean, and pet friendly. My accommodations were very comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. No complaints at all. I would definitely return, and can recommend without hesitation.
Property needs a little work, some of it in work now but the room could use more. Shower plumbing could use work, could not shut off the water for about 30 minutes of playing with the faucet. Interesting location also, not bad but does seem to be in the middle of an abandoned neighborhood..., but still seems safe.
I will start out by saying there was a problem with my room, the card key reader for my door stopped working. However, the desk personnel tried hard to fix it and Ginger tried multiple times to get new cards to work and I realize they have no control over the maintenance staff who did not fix it promptly. I was already unpacked to include toiletries laid out, clothes hung up and a trip to the commissary to stock my refrigerator for the week. Levita tried so hard to make things right she needs some recognition so here's a shout out to you girl --- thanks for letting me in with the override machine after the gym! But the next day Brittney told me they couldn't fix it but she had moved me to another room that was actually an upgrade to a suite. She was so nice and already knew I didn't want to move and even offered to help. Here's a young pregnant lady offering to help with the physical move; such a genuine and sincere gesture. I hope her management reads this. So I thanked her and moved myself and it wasn't that bad and everything else was great. Rooms were exceptionally clean and cleaned daily contrary to what I had heard. Bed and pillows were good, well equipped kitchenette, bathroom was spotless with good towels. This was a little long and I should acknowledge it was the government per diem rate acceptance that got me here but the staff was so excellent and the hotel more than adequate that I would return. KUDOS to the staff for turning it around!!!
This is not the greatest place but it's not bad at all. The rooms are plenty big with kitchen, microwave, large fridge, large bathrooms and very very comfy beds. That alone is worth a5 star rating. The only reason for 4 star was bc no breakfast. (Due to kitchen). Staff was very friendly. Greet you when you come in and leave. Gave us a briefing at the desk about the room and the electric switches on the wall. Quiet hotel that accepts dogs. Nice. They have a little store by the front desk. They have free movies. Internet. In all, this is a nice hotel with everything you need for a business stay or just a place to rest for a night. Longer stay would be OK also. I'd stay again.
If you are really lucky you will be checked in and out by Tristin. She is an absolute treasure. Rooms are comfortable and tidy. You will not be dissatisfied nor disappointed. Well I certainly wasn't and will definitely stay there again
Everything went wrong that could. In addition, if you are handicapped, they will put you at risk. They also don't care whether or not you can hurt because of the issues and will be blaming you for these things. They will have the handicapped on other than the first floor, even if you confirm with them that you need no elevators. They can't guarentee your safety. In addition, they will put non handicapped rooms before yours, making you go far away from elevators to get to your room that the non handicapped don't have to do.
This hotel was very convenient to I-75 and the Museum of Aviation. I was there for a car show. Curb appeal was very nice. Hotel entrance was clean and appealing. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hallways were clean and the elevator was very dependable. The room was very nice and had everything I needed for a 2 day stay. The bed was comfortable. The room temp was comfortable and easy to adjust. Wifi was free and the tv channels were great. No complaints.
Staying on the third floor. Walking down the hall I could tell some rooms were smoking rooms. Price is right but I don't smoke! There is no breakfast offered at the hotel but there is a McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts just outside the door. The kitchenette and full size refrigerator are helpful too.
Used 5K points (point breaks) for our stay on 5/1. Had stayed here before in 2013 and found it just as nice this time. The hotel is just off the main drag with plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants of all kinds, many of which were within walking distance. There is plenty of free parking with good lighting so the area appears secure. Check-in was efficient and cordial. We continue to be impressed at how clean and well maintained this hotel is. It is better than most Candlewoods we've stayed at. Our room had two comfortable double beds with fresh sheets and plenty of pillows. The living space was immaculate, well designed, large enough and well maintained. Wifi was stable and easy to access. The HVAC was new with a digital thermostat control on the wall. There were plenty of new fresh towels. The kitchen area was clean and included full sized fridge, microwave and dishwasher as well as all dishware/cookware you may need. There was also a recliner chair and work desk. Lighting in the room was very good and the carpets were clean and unstained. The TV had plenty of channels, but was a bit smaller than we would have liked. We never saw any bugs, smelled any foul odors, or heard our neighbors. This was a good stay and we will probably stop here again when in the area.
The staff here is super nice and very helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. They do allow pets which is great- don't worry you don't really hear the pets. The only downside is there is no pool but they do have a gym and free laundry.
