Very close to the train station. Breakfast was located on their top floor where you can see the whole village and the food were also pretty good. Freshly squeezed juices were a nice touch and pretty tasty as well. It is also very close to the bus stop going up to Machu Picchu.
Great check in experience; porter brought our bags from and to the train station; excellent meal at the restaurant. Convenient location (close to train station and shuttle for Machu Picchu); beautiful view from our room; Great experience overall. A little noisy due to traffic outside.

Great hotel with wonderful view of the Andes Mountains. We stayed in Taypikala for two nights while touring Machu Picchu. The staff was friendly and courteous, and we enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. Our favorite part was the view and the atmosphere of Aguas Calientes. Great place to stay.
It was a very charming and friendly place to stay. Located in the main square it was convenient and close to shops and restaurants.
Service was great and very accommodating but rooms were hot.
