Good value for your money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but its all you need before your hike at MP. They let you store your luggage after check out. Nice view of the waters

The room was right on the river, 1st floor with decent bed and warm blankets. With window closed you can’t hear river but open it’s extremely loud which can be good to drown out other noise if needed. Breakfast was included in our rate and good. The property emailed us immediately after booking with a map and directions and offered to meet us at train station which was right across from the hotel. Location is extremely convenient and near one of the better places to enjoy food and drink (Full House) where we enjoyed two evenings with our new favorite waiter Alfred. There was a laundry mat next door we were warned about that runs until 8pm. You can hear when they use the dryers but it wasn’t too intrusive. There was construction that was extremely loud and sounded as if they were working inside our bathroom but it was only annoying one day when we were in the room a little more during the day but left the window open so that sound of river could help dull the drilling. If coming for a day just to see Machu Picchu they also offer to store bags and breakfast started at 0500 if you are making the early trip up the mountain

The pictures and adds are misleading. We got the most expensive room that was advertised with a "Mountain View". The view was of the train and trashcans. To see the "mountain" you can to push your head out the window and look to the far left. It is a joke. The owner refused to accept this truth or accept that the room and hotel was a dump. People are better off staying anywhere else. A hostel dorm would be better.

Susanna’s a saint. Best undiscovered Jem in AC. perfect everything!

Great View with Breakfast! Noise from the train is a bit difficult with light sleepers. Terrific little place for not a lot of money. Very welcoming staff

It was very clean and the staff so so helpful. They were very accommodating. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The view while eating breakfast was incredible. We would definitely stay there again.

Warm, generous family and staff, great breakfast, could hardly be closer to train stop. Enjoyed our stay there very much! Suggest try to stay longer-

Dear William Mullholland, to begin with you have not payed a single dollar since you asked to have a refund and I kindly accepted despite you have occupied the room for about one hour. You made your point about being unsatisfied with your room view screaming, shouting, insulting me in a very rude and aggressive way: I have been working for more than 5 years in London, Paris' and Venice' s Hotels and I have never seen such an impolite scene, especially against a young woman. The price that you were supposed to pay did not correspond to the high value of the room, we are putting extremely cheap promotions at the moment, since we are brand new, compared to the quality we offer. For the price that you were supposed to pay you wouldn't have found our isolating double paned windows (only four hotels in the entire Machu Picchu have those since their costs is high but we wanted to give a better service to our clients), the top quality of our mattress, linens and towels, hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, a 45 inches Smart Satellital TV, those dimensions of the room and the Mountain View which is exactly what you were given. The village is surrounded by mountains: this means that standing in front of your window you could see mountains from your left side to the right side (and this involves the front side). You could even see mountains while lying on your bed with your head on the pillows! The Superior Double Rooms can have mountain view plus the river or mountain view plus the village. Unless you book for a hotel isolated in the middle of the mountain you will always be likely to see the village around, as well. In the description of the room that you had booked there were 2 pictures of the view from your room, one taken from the pillow where you can see buildings and the mountains behind and one with the train station and the mountains behind. Nevertheless I will consider your feedback and add another panoramic picture taken exactly from your window; please let me remind you that we are the ONLY hotel in the whole street to have actually put pictures of the side of Mountains plus village. You write it is a joke the pictures I had took from your exact room to show natural scenes that you could see from your room, because a person should have had to look on the left. You showed me instead a picture that you took while standing just in front the bathroom. But even for the room on the other side, you wouldn't see the river while standing in the bathroom, which is quite logical to me: in order to see the river you need to look underneath from the window, the rooms are not just upon the water, in order to see the mountain on the left you will need to look at your left, in order to see the mountain on your right you will need to look at your right (we are just in front of the river plus mountains). It seems logical to me and that is why we have different opinions on the "truth" that you have been shouting at me in such an offensive way. We have had plenty of

Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to let us a review about your stay. I am glad you enjoyed the view, the breakfast and the welcoming staff. Actually as I explained you at our check-in, noise is a problem that affects every hotel in Aguas Calientes: with the difference that together with ONLY 3 other hotels we are the best equipped in Town with DOUBLE GLAZING/PANED windows. Plus our ideal location is ideal being far from nightclubs' and bars ' music playing until 2 am everynight. We hope to host you again in your next visit to Aguas Calientes! Warmly, Susanna Miranda
