We accidentally did not reserve a non-smoking room. We only realized this when we walked into our room and could smell the cigarette smoke. The room was very cold and the HVAC unit was very loud. It was also a handicap room which we did not request. We might have been able to switch rooms if we had asked (we did not), but it was a very late checkin and we thought it would be ok. However, in the morning, we woke up congested (should have known) but more importantly, we discovered bugs scurrying across the floor which was a little un-nerving. It was our fault to not get a non-smoking room - so I am not down-rating due to that. But the bugs and the HVAC were issues.

Our check-in was super easy, the property was great for a quick stop on our road trip, but the dog urine smell in the room/carpet was overbearing. Just because we have a dog doesn’t mean we should have a room that has been peed in numerous times. The ammonia smell was almost unbearable but we got in late and were tired so we just dealt with it. Recommend that you rip up that carpet and put in LVL so that pet-friendly rooms can be just as nice as human-only rooms.

Room was advertised as a king, but it turned out to be a queen bed. If I had known that no kings were available, I’d have booked two queens for the same price.

My bathroom and shower had hair in it everywhere. Pool was broken for over a month. Pool was closed obviously. Balcony floors are breaking and coming up causing huge trip hazzards. Balconys are just painted partical board. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice.
