I remember this motel from half a century ago, and the refurb that has been done is very excellent - love the feel of the place. The room is small, but everything was nicely done, everything worked. Towels and soap etc, were appropriate from a further up market motel. One should look carefully at the room pics on Expedia to appreciate the love and care that went into the refurb. Very much will stay here again. :-)

I try and stay in Los Banos on my way up or down I-5. It's such a cute charming town that no one knows about. It's about 10 minutes off I-5 so I guess most people just drive on thru. And this motel is the best! Charming historic architecture inside and out, beautiful potted plants everywhere, and very nice owners.And so far, still quite affordable. Be sure to check out the "old town" just a few blocks from the motel.

Do not stay here! It is filthy dirty, We couldn’t sleep in one of the beds because the pillowcase had a stain in upon removing it. There were clearly blood stains on the pillow itself. not to mention how unsafe we felt! we had to leave at 3 AM because of the Riff Raff in the parking lot. When I called the manager today, Sunday at 1 PM to speak with him regarding the filth and disgusting condition of the bed, he basically called me a liar didn’t care that we had pictures and videos. This is The most disgusting hotel, not to mention completely unsafe!!!
