Looks like they half renovated, but what they didn’t you can really tell. Shower floor was patched up and chipping off, bug in the bed(not bed bugs) and took hours for room to cool off. Better to pay a few bucks extra and stay somewhere else.
Staff was kind. I had to request a refund. The room was very hot... Pouring sweat. Ac was extremely noisy. You are literally sleeping on the side of the highway and the rooms are not noise insulated at all. I cannot believe that they sell rooms. You are better off sleeping in your car in a quiet place. Definitely find somewhere else if you are sensitive to noise. I slept better at a rest area in a Honda Accord.

I don't recommend this place to relax because it is near to the freeway, and It is a very noisy place. I couldn't sleep the whole night :(

Someone complained about noise coming from my room It wasn't my room and the office was threatening to call the police on me without even checking
All I need is a clean, comfortable place to spend the night. I happily give up the frills for the amazingly reasonable price and the convenience of location: right off the 5 freeway. They have all I need: easy, close parking; free WiFi, TV, soap & towels; vending machines and ice.
The room was looking pretty nice at first until my pen fell and I saw how dirty it was under the bed. The light over the shower doesn't work or the bathroom fan. The mattress is shot, when I first sat down next to the night stand I thought I was going to fall through. And the pool is closed as well.
Unfortunately no shampoo or conditioner in the rooms
Convenient location, clean and comfortable, good for the price. Ice machine was not working at the time but otherwise good.
No shower pressure,fridge,or microwave....Could hear all freeway traffic even though I was on opposite side of highway..Its what you can expect for the price..It was safe and clean...

We needed a getaway destination and found an interesting hideaway motel in busy Truck Stop area near California aqueduct.
Worked to get some sleep in and was clean. Do not get a room facing the freeway, it is too loud for light sleepers. Can't really expect much for a motel.
It's not an exciting destination hotel, it's a one-night stop on the dreary Interstate 5. That being said, it was very clean and the staff was friendly. Exactly what one looks for in a Motel 6.
