Our host, Roger, was very friendly and accommodating. The views were beautiful, the deck and yard lovely and the mattresses were super comfortable. The neighborhood was absolutely adorable.

Everything was wonderful… from Rogers hospitality to the amazing view…to the relaxing hot tub. The outdoor heaters are clutch while enjoying your morning coffee with a view . Highly recommend!

Roger is a fantastic host!! Very good communication, timely and also gives great recommendations for local spots. Great views of Hollywood sign, fantastic back yard for lounging and taking in the landscape. Only downside is no living space inside, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Great for a couple or friends for a weekend getaway. Super neighborhoods, full of great dining and night life. Close to Dodger Stadium a bonus.

This review is for the lower level only, which is two bedrooms, a bathroom, and the lower patio.This is a beautiful house with amazing views and a prime location in Silver Lake. The place was comfortable for two nights and we loved the neighborhood. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Note that people with mobility issues may have difficulty navigating the steps down to the unit.

Wonderful stay in Silver Lake area

Wonderful little two-bed in Silver Lake up on a hill. The outdoor patio area, side-yard with a hammock, and the hot-tub made this such a beautiful and relaxing stay. So many good food options nearby (mostly driving) but the coffee shop & Whole Foods are easily walkable. Roger, the host, was extremely helpful and communicative as well. I would definitely stay here again!

The bedroom suite was lovely and well equipped. Clear instructions in each room for the technology. The outdoor space was lovely with a nice view. It is truly an outdoor living room. I enjoyed an afternoon in the hammock with my book. We ran out of time so didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the hot tub. Roger was great and checked in via email regularly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was a great stay. Immaculately clean. When out on the deck it feels like you are in tree house overlooking Silver Lake and the lights at night are magical. Walking around the neighborhood I was able to see some architecturally interesting homes. Would happily come back!!

Everything was as described or better. We had first class VRBO experience! Property has an amazing view and I spent hours on the deck reading and writing. Host was not just incredibly responsive, but consistently proactive looking for feedback or questions. Readily supplied unexpected help when asked within 10 minutes (I needed a screwdriver to fix my luggage)! Note that this part of silver lake is VERY STEEP and the narrow car lined roads are very challenging for even confident drivers. Close walk for stuff (but you better be fit to navigate the mountainous grades) and plenty of street parking (but be prepared for delays as oncoming cars try to find gaps to pass each other and garbage and delivery trucks make the road impassable in one direction or the other). Of course none of this is in the host’s purview, but plan ahead and make sure you’ve got your rental car insured from minor scrapes etc.

When a minor issue arose, he addressed it immediately with practical solutions, demonstrating a proactive and caring approach that made us feel truly valued.The property's location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions. We especially enjoyed the stunning views from the rooftop patio (and flora), which provided a peaceful setting to unwind after a day of exploring.In summary, this stay was made remarkable not just by the lovely accommodations but by a host who genuinely cares about their guests' experiences. We wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future!

Our stay at Roger's home in Los Angeles, California was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the wonderful view. Amazing view!

Situated in the trendy Silver Lake area, this unit is perfect for those looking to have a relaxing stay. This two bedroom unit was a breathtaking view of the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign. Each room has access to the spacious washroom as well as access to the outdoor living room. The balcony has plenty of space to relax and take in the magnificent view of the hillside and Silver Lake. The hot tub is a great add on especially after a full day for walking around LA. There is also a large amphitheatre where you can hangout with your company. The unit is within walking distance from a Starbucks, Whole Foods, CVS, restaurants and coffee shops. The host had excellent communication, was very accommodating and was quick to respond to any questions. If you are looking for a nice place to unwind with a great view and a quick drive to a variety of tourist attractions, this is your place.

Perfect LA home base for long weekend

We had SUCH a lovely stay at Skydeck! My husband and I and another friend really enjoyed the space, particularly the deck overlooking Silver Lake and beyond. Skydeck has one of the most attentive hosts I've ever experienced - Roger truly cares about how your stay is and if everything is up to your liking. But the nicest part was that everything was literally perfect already, and the added touches made our getaway smooth sailing. Some examples are the large heaters outside when it gets chilly at night - SO cozy and nice! The TVs are already logged into Netflix (convenient after a long travel day). And there really truly is abundant street parking outside his house - we never had an issue finding parking (and of note: all rideshares were there within a few minutes of being requested as well).We would absolutely stay here again! That deck - and Roger's hospitality - is what will bring me back :)
