This hotel is a little gem! The hotel maybe old but it has been refreshed and remodeled. Very comfortable bed and quiet room.
The hotel is in a great spot, with cozy beds and surprisingly peaceful vibes despite being on a busy avenue!
The soap was very bad, my shower head was rusty.

Outstanding value for proximity to a lot of Hollywood tourist spots. It’s an older hotel that has been given a refreshing facelift. Not the Ritz but worked well for our family of 5 for a night. Felt clean & safe. Parking is in a courtyard lot nicely enclosed by the rooms & well lit. Small staff (nobody was at the check-in desk when we arrived a little early) but they did everything they could to take good care of us. WIFI was free but we had no luck connecting. Beds were big & comfortable, the pull-out sofa was plenty long for a 14-year old boy. It didn’t have any sheets & they brought some to us right away. No complaints, a hidden jewel in a land of expensive lodging.
Nice quiet property that is convenient to freeway access. Some nice restaurants in the area. The check-in was easy and quick. Rooms are clean and quiet. The only thing to be aware of is there is no elevator and parking can be a bit limited if you come back late. The only other minor thing I would suggest to management is, "Please turn up the hot water temp just a little bit more." It's just not quite hot enough after a long day of hiking and walking around. I would definitely stay again! Thank you.
PROs: A real gem for budget stay for my family of 5. Staff are great. Amenities: family suite got refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee with pods, water heater/ kettle for tea. CONs: 3 story building with no elevator and watch your step - gets slippery with rain Location is by freeways so you can hear sirens and cars - but you can sleep through it all. (But for this price, still a great place to stay)

First things first, YES, I would stay again. It was a very “don’t judge a book by its cover” kind of property. The outside building looks old and dated, even the neon sign gives off an old school vibe. Lobby is clean and modern so I didn’t know what to expect with the rooms. After check in, I was pleasantly surprised to see that our room was up-to-date and spacious; the room really does not match the building’s exterior. Appliances all seemed new (fridge, TV, & microwave), unfortunately the heater/air conditioner looked and sounded like it was at least 20 years old, but it functioned alright. The bathroom was better than some that I’ve seen at name brand chain motels/inns, with a LED lit vanity mirror, new toilet, stone tile walk-in shower. Spoiler alert, no tub with the shower, which is perfectly fine since I’m not sure how many people actually take bathtub baths at motels nowadays. Parking lot is small, literally one spot per room (that’s how small the property is). No elevator, all rooms are on the 2nd & 3rd floor of the building, just as a FYI.
It was close to my family. They let me check in at 1pm since the family’s memorial was at 2pm.
Bed was super comfy - location is nice. It look like there are lots of upgrades happening. I look forward to seeing the finished result.
