Locals know the 1.5-mile-long stretch with the harbor on one side and a broad, sandy California beach on the other as “the Peninsula.” You'll find that many local enjoy our beach for it's laid-back atmosphere and the sand volleyball courts (we have one in front of the house). A short walk to the bayside of the peninsula, you will be able to rent a paddle board or take a Gondola ride around Naples Island.

*Other Important Details*:

- Thanks to our cool coastal breeze, most coastal homes do not have air conditioning (AC). Every home comes with fans so you can open the windows and enjoy the beach air like a local. If AC is important to you, please double check if it is listed as an amenity.

- We do our best to stay on top of any remodels or construction happening near our properties, but construction can pop up in the City of Long Beach without notice. By city rule, construction is only permitted Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm AND Saturday 9am to 6pm.

- The Long Beach Peninsula is a beach community and can be impacted by high tides and strong swells. The local governement might enact safety measures to prevent beach erosion, including the building of sand berms. We do remind our guest that we are fortunate to have access to two beaches, with the second being a few blocks down on both the coastal side and on Alamitos Bay.
