This is a cozy gem in WeHo! The staff is amazing, the beds are comfy, and the rooms with fireplaces are cozy on chilly nights. The breakfast is quaint and coffee good. THIS is the place you want for charm, coziness, and comfort.

The Best Boutique Hotel in Los Angeles

Hotel 850 SVT is easily the most incredible boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in—and the only place I’ll stay whenever I’m in LA. From pre-arrival communication to thoughtful touches like accepting a delivery and placing it in my room before check-in, every detail was seamless and stress-free. What stood out most was the staff’s willingness to help without hesitation. I left an exotic rental car overnight and mentioned the company would be by to collect it the next morning. They assured me it would be safely parked and waiting out front at the exact time—handled with the same effortless professionalism as everything else during my stay. Simply put, this hotel sets the standard for boutique hospitality.

This is such a unique place. All the furnishings are one of a kind- not like chain hotels. Every little nuance of your stay is made so nice- from the welcome note to the marvelous continental breakfast with a fancy coffeemaker. We especially want to commend the front desk clerk, Winston who made us feel so welcome after a too long day traveling.

This place is charming and sweet, and in a great place in WeHo for food and walking around. The staff was kind but not super helpful. We were there the weekend of the marathon and weren't warned ahead of time that the street in front of the hotel was going to be closed the entire day on the day of our checkout. We ended up having to uber to an airport hotel and pay for a 2nd hotel for the night to avoid missing our flight the next day. Left a bad taste in our mouths - they should have offered to comp us the second night. We had a family member in a second room that decided not to check out early because she didn't have a flight the next day, and she was trapped at the hotel until after 2pm the day of the marathon as the valet folks forgot to move her car out of the closed zone (they had promised to do so). Also, there are neighbors with very loud barking dogs that leave their pets out day and night, making it hard to sleep.
