The discomfort was stylish 10 years ago. Now its just old and overpriced. Will not stay here again.
The Hotel is run down and needs renovation. Every night there was a party and the hotel guests were greatly inconvenienced.

We stayed here for the Halloween night last year. We figure it would be wise to stay in a hotel to avoid DUI. Standard Hollywood is very close to the renown Halloween parade which is only 1 mile away from the parade. Staff was very friendly and cool. However, I was little disappointed about the the room itself. It looks dated and furnitures seem cheaply made. Overnight parking costs $34 with unlimited entry. I guess I can't really complain because this is Hollywood we are talking about. I'd recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay after barhopping.
The Standard West Hollywood serves a purpose and serves it well, but it's not where a midwestern Wal-Mart shopping family should accidentally stay on their trip to see Hollywood. I love The Standard for what it is, but the rooms aren't super nice (but they are cool), it's very mid-century modern plastic with a hipster party vibe.
Have spent hundreds of nights in hotels. Best on the strip. No question

We completely understand your concern regarding the temperature of your room. When the weather is extreme, our heating and cooling system suffers but we are looking into ways that could effectively fix this concern.
