Love this place, everytime I come to LA I stay at the same hotel, it has the perfect location and Saturdays nights they open their club and it's so much fun!!!!

Great modern hotel in a great location. Check-in was flawless and rooms were spacious. The pool and pool party was a great perk.

We stayed here for the Halloween night last year. We figure it would be wise to stay in a hotel to avoid DUI. Standard Hollywood is very close to the renown Halloween parade which is only 1 mile away from the parade. Staff was very friendly and cool. However, I was little disappointed about the the room itself. It looks dated and furnitures seem cheaply made. Overnight parking costs $34 with unlimited entry. I guess I can't really complain because this is Hollywood we are talking about. I'd recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay after barhopping.

The Standard West Hollywood serves a purpose and serves it well, but it's not where a midwestern Wal-Mart shopping family should accidentally stay on their trip to see Hollywood. I love The Standard for what it is, but the rooms aren't super nice (but they are cool), it's very mid-century modern plastic with a hipster party vibe.

Have spent hundreds of nights in hotels. Best on the strip. No question

Best location and room for the money. The staff was wonderful.

Great last minute staycation. Great pool scene and friendly staff.

The hotel was very clean the staff was awesome the shower was amazing ,but the room could have used a coffee maker.

My flight was canceled and I needed to find a hotel for another night. It was just perfect. Very pleasant and comfortable, hip looking, beautiful people, in a location with many nice restaurants around.

Great location and price but rooms feel a bit cheap like they were cutting corners. Food was average. However, great vibe in the common areas with live music or a DJ several times a week.

Had a great time and it's close to everything in the Hollywood area. Pool / lounge area was really fun, staff was great and everything was super clean / modern. I was wary that it would be too vintage but its not - clean simple with some basic retro design elements. Great place to stay if your traveling for work around the area or just to get away. I would suggest looking into staying at the downtown one instead though if you are planning to travel or meet friends from silver lake / eagle rock areas. Its a bit closer... I thought it was a bit pricey but you are paying for the neighborhood (and the name) - still I was happy.

I had a great expereince at The Standard. Everything from the excellent food, the pool area, the room, and the great location made for a nice start to my California trip. In fact, I plan to stay there agin next week as I wrap up my travels. I hated to leave but am looking forward to stay #2 this weekend.

Hotel staff was nice and accommodating. Pool is very small and tanning areas are reservation only. 24/7 Restaurant and 6AM-2AM bar onsite were great.

Let me start by saying I was very nervous about this hotel. I thought it was going to be a total party hotel, possibly be dirty, rude staff (the last part was from reading reviews). But my boyfriend and I really liked the location of it, so I went ahead and booked. I should also say I am 33 and really wanted to stay at a relaxing 4 star hotel. I was totally wrong about The Standard. It was great. Upon arrival, the front desk lady informed me we had been upgraded from a city view room (Sunset they call it) to a pool view room. The room was enormous, clean and since it was on the 2nd floor, there are only 3, we were practically on top of the pool. The bathroom has this cool cork flooring/wall tile. I read reviews that said the shower was sexy - that wasn't the impressive part to me - it was the awesome water pressure from the rain shower head. The staff were friendly and helpful the entire time of our stay. If you will be using public transport while there, the #2 bus stops at the front door of The Standard. And you should totally go to Saddle Ranch across the street if you want to see ppl making fools of themselves riding a mechanical bull or singing Karaoke. I would absolutely stay at The Standard again and recommend it to anyone other than families. I will throw out one thing about it... if you can, get a room on the 3rd floor. I think the construction of the place lacks a bit and we could hear our upstairs neighbors walking. Again, nothing bad, but wanted to put it out there.

Perfect location, average hotel (amenities, comfortableness, food) but outstanding service from all the valets, great guys!

Loved the comfort of the room but needs some bathroom upgrade (no soap holder?) and great location.

Needed a place to stay overnight in LA - The Standard was cool/hip/modern etc. but the rooms were no frills. The shower was AMAZING in the room... but expect to pay 33 for the valet only parking. Room service was tasty also... besides that I wasn't THAT impressed...

Room was surprisingly quiet. Good food, available 24/7. We would gladly recommended to young friends but also to hip older ones.

hallways were under construction and looked sloppy. But the ambience and pool area is superb.

Location was the only thing that may have been nice. However, there are lots of other hotels nearby for the same price or $50 more but worth better quality. Rooms are not anywhere near the picture, old ugly carpet & drapes. Nothing in the room made it worth it. Walls are sooooo thin. After taking a good look at the lounge & pool area, its so cheap looking. Could have paid the same for much better quality. Not my first time in W.H hotels but my first at The Standard & my last! Worst night ever.
