I want to begin by saying that the location is great- close to the train station, bus stop, camden market, and a great bakery for breakfast. Also, the host was a great communicator. However, we were less than pleased with our stay. The wifi was terrible and we were never able to connect. We eventually gave up. Also, we took cold showers 3 of the 5 nights we were here because the boiler kept running out of hot water. The washer/dryer washed but does not dry clothes. The host tried to resolve the issues and sent the plumber and landlord but the issues were never resolved. Overall, there were way to many issues for us to be able to enjoy our stay.
The host was excellent with communication from the onset and answered my several questions quickly. The host was very attentive to our needs. The accommodation itself was very clean and 5 star quality. Lots of space for lounging and the three bathrooms are a definite bonus. The extra hand towels were and soaps available were a nice touch. This is a mainfloor unit. The bedrooms are a level down with many stairs. I point this out as it was a surprise for us and my daughter just had knee surgery and I have very bad knee arthritis so the stairs were a challenge. If you have no joint issues then it would not be an issue. I bring it up in case you do have, then this is important to know. One recommendation I’d make is that hooks or towel bars be put in the bathrooms for the hand towels. We highly recommend this accommodation and it made our stay in London extra enjoyable. Location also great. We were able to walk to Camden Market and it was close to an underground station as well as cafes, shops and a McDonald’s.
