Perfectly positioned in downtown London and literally a stones throw from Budweiser Gardens this ultra modern hotel is perfectly positioned to enable you to enjoy central London. The conversion from an older building into a hotel, gifts the rooms with wonderful high ceilings which lends an air of opulence which is amplified by the use of modern and high end amenities such as full length tuds and walk in rain showers. Also, and very important, the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff are exceptionally helpful sorting out parking issues and giving very good advice on where to eat both supper and breakfast. A fantastic stay, without doubt I will book here again next time I'm in London.

Love this hotel. Rooms are beautiful. Service is great. Plenty to do & great places to eat within walking distance. Great for business travel or personal. Only negatives are there’s no fitness center or business center.

Excellent place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. The staff are warm and friendly. Always willing to help. Just parked and walked during our visit. Bars, restaurants, coffee shops, covenant garden market. All within walking distance. Been here numerous times and will always return.

Hotel Metro is steps to many restaurants/ shopping/ etc. Meg at the front desk was fantastic! When we mentioned some of our plans, she quickly picked up on what we'd said and took the time to point us in the right direction. She was very attentive to our needs and set the stage for a fun weekend. She was very energetic and personable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates being treated like a person, not a number.

Ryan, Ashley, Shawn...thank you so very much again for your level of service and attention to detail for all our group's whims and last-minute needs and changes. You always go above and beyond. Of course, the rooms are unique and comfortable, with all amenities.

We ended up booking a room at this hidden gem on a recent visit to London! My husband and I were travelling to London along with our eldest daughter to visit our youngest daughter who attends University nearby - and the original plan was to find a room that could accommodate the four of us. However, area hotels, especially the "chain" brands we usually gravitated toward, were all booked solid, and there wasn't a double room to be found for a decent price in the area. I expanded my search to include lesser known hotels, and had to start considering ones who had no double rooms left. In the end, I stumbled upon this fantastic boutique hotel right in the centre of downtown, that had one King room left for a terrific price! I'm always a bit tentative booking somewhere that's unfamiliar to us, however we were running out of options, and all the reviews I read were glowing, so we decided to go for it! Changed our plans a bit, deciding that my husband and I would stay at the hotel, and the girls would stay at our daughters place, and we'd turn it in to a bit of a getaway for the parents! Called the hotel to book directly, and received incredible customer service over the phone. They answered ALL our questions, the reservation was made easily, and we were very much put at ease with their description of the room, the parking, the surrounding area, etc. We asked for an early check-in, and they assured us that they would make every effort to provide one for us. On the day of our arrival, en route to London, we actually received a phone call directly from a lovely young lady at the front desk informing us that our room was all ready and waiting for us ahead of the usual 3pm check in. With a personal touch like that, we were already suitably impressed! When we arrived at the hotel, along with our two young adult daughters, we were greeted like old friends. The young lady at the front desk (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name but she was so efficient, and confirmed for us that she herself had been the one to call us earlier that day). She provided us with directions and instructions for parking directly in the lot across from the hotel under the Covent Garden Market, as well as assurance that the cost as a guest of the hotel would be nearly half that of the usual rate for the lot. She also easily answered a number of questions about nearby restaurants (there are LOTS), as well as some of the room's ammenities. The lobby was clean and eccentric and had a terrific urban vibe. We made our way up to our room with our girls who were going to join us for a few hours before dinner - and we were all so impressed with the décor, and the cleanliness of the hotel on the way to our room. When we entered our room, it was as beautiful as the pictures we'd seen online and then some! Gorgeous exposed brick walls, plush vibrant purple area rug, sleek grey wood floors, chic black and chrome furniture, expansive windows on one entire wall with stunning drapery treatments, king bed with crisp white linens, two plush white robes, and terrific lighting. The room featured a European style washroom/bedroom layout with a large soaker tub, a frosted glass and tile shower, and sink and vanity right IN the room, with a private water closet. Stunning - and perfect for a romantic weekend! We asked for ice to be delivered to our room, which it promptly was with a smile, and we also were able to get a complimentary deck of cards from the front desk. According to their amenity menu and welcome binder, there are also board games available upon request, as well as a spa menu (with 24 hours notice), and an extensive list of other toiletries and sundries, etc. that you can purchase should you forget to pack something. We thoroughly enjoyed the few hours we spent in the room prior to dinner, enjoying a few cocktails, hanging out with our girls, listening to music, and playing some cards. When we were ready to leave for the evening, we were greeted by Meg who was now working a the front desk, and she happily arranged a taxi for us, chatted with us like she's known us all her life, and then offered to take a family picture of us while we waited too! Super friendly and helpful, she made us feel right at home! My husband and I returned later that evening, where she greeted us with big smile, and asked how our night out had been, wished us a good evening, and assured us that she'd be there to see us in the morning. We had a amazing sleep on the comfy bed - absolutely zero noise in the hallways, and we couldn't hear a peep from the street outside or from above/below/beside us. Nice and dark in the room with the blackout curtains too! We enjoyed a complimentary Keurig coffee in our room in the morning getting ready for the day, and Meg made our checkout process easy and fun, and we were sorry to leave. Wish we'd had it booked for another night!! All in all, we agreed we'd return in a heartbeat, and will DEFINITELY be looking to book a room there the next time we're in London. We'll try a double room next if we're going to share with our kids - and you'd want to be sure to request a room without the European style bath if sharing accommodations with someone other that your better-half lol! Thanks Hotel Metro for an amazing stay :)

Had a great experience staying there for my birthday! Meg at the front desk was the highlight of our stay. She’s so energetic and outgoing. the bottle of wine complementary of the hotel made me so happy and I will definitely be coming to stay there again. Beautiful rooms and excellent service. Loved all of it !! :)

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Everything I needed and expected from a great hotel was available. Meg was awesome too! She went out of her way to make my stay so enjoyable! The meal at the adjoining restaurant (sorry forget name) was so delicious too. Thanks!!

We have been guests at Hotel Metro at least six times in the last two years. The location, suite amenities and overall comfort of the hotel are three reasons why we continue to return, but the staff & their genuine customer service is what has us telling others to stay. We will continue to spread the word!

Staff like Meg at the front desk helped make the experience a smooth and comfortable one. Our check-out time was readily extended after we woke a little late, and the room booked was gorgeous. The location of the hotel is excellent.
