The room was very spacious. The barrier-free shower was a nice bonus. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. A good place to stay the night before surgery at London University Hospital. Definitely got a good night's sleep.
I stayed here for a night while I was taking my LSAT. When I arrived, the man who helped me check-in was extremely friendly and upgraded my room to a bigger bed and made sure that my room had blinds and privacy. The ladies at the front desk were also helpful with parking, and made sure I knew where I was going. The room was PERFECT. I loved the open concept, the decor was modern and hip. Comfy bed, huge bathtub, and overall a great experience. I was able to relax and study with ease and will absolutely be back next time I'm in london! Thank you :)
This is a great place to stay in London--right next to Coventry public market and convenient to downtown amenities and rail station. I was delighted by by virtually everything--room, bed, staff, location. You could pay twice as much in Toronto and not get as nice a room.
I've stayed at the Metro many times in the past. Excellent accommodations, great location, and fantastic staff. Everyone who works at the hotel is pleasant, efficient, and very accommodating. For the first time I was given a room overlooking Dundas Street. It just added another element of entertainment to a wonderful overnight stay.
Small boutique hotel, beautiful room, clean and inviting. Great location downtown and very friendly staff. Open concept room with comfy bed. Nice bath robes. Large shower with separate toilet room. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Small lobby but clean with drinks.
Always love staying at Hotel Metro! The room is a loft-style bachelor with a comfortable king, deep soaker and walk-in glass shower. Super modern with massive high ceilings and gorgeous, huge windows! No gym but lots of room to bring your yoga mat :) Floors are a bit creaky so keep your fingers crossed you aren't sleeping below a stomper!
During my visit to London my girlfriend and I spent two nights at the Hotel Metro. The hotel has a great location right in the heart of the historic downtown area and it was easy to reach everywhere nearby on foot. The parking is also pretty easy with free parking available on weekends and after 6PM with a covered parking garage right across the street if you need to park during the day. The check-in process was straightforward and I loved the boutique design of the lobby where they had infused water, apples, and free coffee and tea if you wanted any. We had a loft room on the top floor of the hotel and it was very spacious with a beautiful view of downtown London. I really loved the large bathtub and stand up shower along with all of the different amenities like robes and slippers that the hotel provided. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked great, and overall we had a great time during our stay. One thing I want to mention is that I believe that the hotel should include parking in the nightly rate as it can be kind of a hassle to figure out parking if you're not used to one of my streets or if you want to take your car out more than once during the day. Otherwise I would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Metro if you're planning on visiting London or the surrounding area.
The hotel is located in a great part of town. It is a little difficult to find because of the construction but it is well worth the effort. Beautifully decorated rooms, exceptional attention to detail and one of the 1st hotels that I have had the pleasure of staying at that provides for the needs of women as well as men. The staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable and well cared for.
We stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was clean and large. My issue was the bed, it was part of a set of wardrobes. Can you remember the old fashion wardrobes which open out so that the bed could drop to the floor, this was exactly the same. I could not access the wardrobes so was unable to hang up dresses which was important as I was attending a wedding at the weekend. There was a rail in the corner of the room but you could only hang short items e.g. Shirts. There was at least a foot gap between the headboard and the bed so I was unable to lie in bed and read with pillows being propped up. There was no safe in the room.
Stayed for one night for a work trip and the guys here couldn't be more helpful and friendly - making restaurant recommendations and simply making an otherwise begrudged Sunday-start to the working week cheerful!
