Too expensive, no A/C and carpet and sheets were dirty.

Location in Bloomsbury near the British Museum and Russell Square was ideal.

This hotel is very nice and located close to the subway. It is within walking distance of many great attractions. The housekeeping staff is quite incredible. They have a computer for use in the lobby. The only downside is that the shower is actually located within the room, and since I shared with a friend of mine, we spent some time playing the game of, "Okay, I'm getting in! Close your eyes now!" The toilets are shared and located in the hallway. Just remember that this is Europe, after all, and you likely aren't spending much time there either. It was a small price to pay to support such a lovely group of people.

The hotel location is the best value. A 2-min walk from the British Museum. A 5-min walk to the Holborn tube station of the Piccadilly Line. Room is small but clean. Overall, very nice stay!

I only stayed here one night, but it was a pleasant stay and I found the staff to be accommodating. The location is excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

If you expect something special, this may not be the hotel for you. But the location couldn't be any better, and that alone is worth the price.

Can't beat the price for this location. Room bigger than most European/British hotels. Sharing a bathroom is the only con and honestly was never much of a problem for us.

This hotel was exactly as advertised and matched the reviews, which was great, because there were no surprises! It is a 5-7 minute walk to the Russell Square tube station in the Piccadilly line, which is super convenient. It took close to an hour from the airport on the underground. The street is quiet and the hotel staff are very friendly. As advertised, you have a shower in your room, but the toilet is down the hall, shared by a small number of rooms. If the toilet situation doesn't bother you, I absolutely recommend this hotel.

The staff was incredibly friendly upon arrival. However, the rooms, while cozy, left little privacy for the non-romantic travel partners. I think shower curtains would be a wonderful addition. Still, at the end of the day, it was a warm, clean place to which to return from a long day of touristing. Good value for area.

Great central but quiet location, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and confortable room. Not a five star hotel but definitely excellent for the price.

I arrived to find it was a walk-up to the room on the 2nd floor (which means the third floor in US terms). The room was very tiny although it did have a shower and a sink (no toilet). The people were nice but the full breakfast cost 18 pounds (about $32) which is outrageous. The only internet was in the lobby/registration area and only one person at a time could use it. In short it was not a great hotel for business travelers.

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the room was modern, clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the the toilet was shared and down the hallway (though the shower and sink were in the room), but the rest of the experience made up for it. It was in a very nice neighborhood and very convenient to the West End, two underground stations and the St. Pancras train station. The price was very affordable and this was the best hotel I stayed at for this price. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
