Should have given a micro oven and bathroom toiletries a hair dryer as most often people come for short stays and people do expect some of the above items for short stays as essential overall room was clean and well maintained

The room was reasonably priced for the location, a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station. However, be careful if walking on the carpet with no shoes. There are some nails coming through the floor boards and starting to poke up through the carpet! Also, there was a leak in the very small en suite. The walls are so thin you can hear your noisy neighbours!

The staff were friendly but the hotel, and the room in particular were poor. It was dark, the door handle looked like someone had tried to take it off previously, the plug sockets and electrics didn’t work and looked like they were just temporary extension leads, the light switch by the bed didn’t work, there were spiders webs across the ceiling and the bathroom fan sounded like a plane taking off. All fine so long as all you are looking for is an ultra budget bed - nothing else, disappointing for London Victoria.

This is a great place for the price if you are trying to stay budget friendly. The room was clean and simple. The shower and bathroom areas were also clean and simple. It’s a great place to stay if you just need a home base. I felt safe in the building, however the front door would get stuck open. If you’re coming and going I’d advise turning around to make sure the door closes. It’s a great neighborhood that is very walkable. Only about 10 minutes to the trains/buses. The staff was lovely and very helpful when I needed a plug adapter, fork, and late checkout. The bed is not comfortable at all. It was very stiff. Which could be personal preference because i like a little cushion. The walls are also thin and you can hear your neighbors. Also would advise closing the window at night if noise bothers you because there are people walking/talking down the street at all hours.

I was disappointed with the reaction from the proprietor on arrival when I tried to explain that due to a positive Covid test my friend could not take his room which I had paid for! The lady just said ‘no refund’ no explanation just go. The room, Tv not working shower height slide came off the wall. No heating no headboard it was very depressing. Would not ever stay again

Pros: Room was very clean and in a great location. Checkin was easy and pleasant. Price was right. Cone: Key was difficult to use in door - had to swap it for another one. Patches on walls and electrical outlets attached with duct tape. Room had the world’s smallest bathroom! One of those 1970’s afterthoughts. Could barely stand in it and brush your teeth. Shower head was broken so had to prop it up against the wall, but had decent hot water. Happy to have window that opened but no way to control the heat so keeping it open meant the heat was on full steam which made it even hotter.

The room was a size of a cupboard. The bathroom was tiny and smelt or damp. NO hot water unless you wait 10 min to warm up. Very narrow staircases. The window didn't close and there was a lot of noise from outside.

The following is what I experienced during my stay. One of the worst hotel stays that I have ever had!!!! - Sink in my room had very low water pressure it was not useful for practically anything… - Instead of a proper hand towel hanging in the room by the sink, there was tissue paper provided. In fact, I asked a couple times for a hand towel and was provided a dirty one and second time the employee couldn’t find one. - Body wash in the dispensers were often low. - The shower was occupied on my level. I went to 1st level to the larger bathroom. The shower bracket holder for shower head was disconnected and shower drain was plugged during the time of use and water flooded onto floor. Manager didn’t bother fixing issue. - The very old house phone in the room didn’t work to call front desk and needed to walk down multiple flights of stairs every time I had a request for service. - I had intermittent issues opening and locking my room. I was concerned about the security of my room because they use skeleton keys In fact, when I arrived the employee that assisted me upon my arrival also had an issue opening the room. - The window for my room didn’t have a screen and needed to stay open due to the extreme heat during my stay. Insects the entered the room. Staff provided a fan, but the fan noise prevented me from getting to sleep. - Safety issue. I was informed the front door to the hotel should be locked after a certain time. The times that I came back late door was unlocked.

The property is close to Victoria station and walking distance from Buckingham palace. Everything was good for the price, clean, staff so sweet, the only reason for 4 stars is just that the sink was so small that I could hardly wash my hands in it nevertheless the face. And it looked more like a house with a few tiny rooms
