This place advertised free parking and we paid a tax to drive into London. What a joke when we arrived there: there was no parking!!!! The lady said it was a hotels.com mistake not theirs. She said I was not her client and I could look for a parking but there was nothing she could do to help. Very deceiving!!! There was no toilet rolls and the lady said we could check out later but at 10:00 cleaners were knocking on the door even though they knew I wasn’t there at that time and that my daughters were sleeping. From beginning to the end disappointing!!

Check in and Out times are wrong on VRBO website. Property manager never answered repeated questions made through the VRBO website. Paid in full through VRBO website at booking. Online account never reflected payment just payment due. But a different website I was referred to did show payment.

While advertised as apartments these are in fact student accomodation so be prepared for lots of noise. We were unaware of this and had to deal with students coming and going at all hours of the night, congregating on the apartment steps between 11-2am to chat and smoke. Management advised us after the fact that there is security guard to assist with these issues. Also had the fire alarm go off 4 times during our stay, apparently the students made dinner. Although the accomodation was relatively large, the furniture (sofa and beds) were very old and tired. The doors in the apartment including the front door were heavy fire doors and banged shut all the time, day and night. Great location but I would definitely not recommend this apartment to anyone unless you’re a student.

The property is in a good location, close to main railway stations and museums. However the overall condition isn’t as good as the photos suggest. You’re not booking the apartment in the image (with wall art and cushions) but one of several apartments which are subject to the wear and tear of student living.

Basic student apartment in good location

Our stay in the apartment was fine- the location and the size of the apartment were fantastic. Staff very friendly and easy to work with. It’s definitely not lux and was setup for students—i.e 4 single beds, 4 sets of flatware, 4 chairs, etc— but technically had everything we needed!

Great stay in a 2-bedroom apartment.

The 2-bedroom apartment was great for our family of 4 with grownup children for a very reasonable price. There were 2 bathrooms even though the apartment was listed with 1 bathroom. We stayed at 13 Bedford place and the office attende 24 hours is at 19 Bedford place. Great location around the corner from the British museum, very close to Piccadilly line underground that goes directly to Heathrow. Few grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Coventry Garden, Piccadilly Circus, the theaters. The street is very quiet and we felt safe returning late at night. Great stay overall.

We'll be back.

The staff were really lovely. There was a problem with the previous occupants being really late checking out but the staff did everything they could to not mess up our arrangements. Wonderful location and the flat was perfect for our needs. We were a group of 5 residents from a nursing home and 2staff.and the whole set up was perfect for us.

Clean and comfortable, plenty of space for our family. Convenient location, close to tube stops and bus lines. The only downside was street noise was significant at night, light sleepers should hang on to those earplugs they give out on the plane.

Basic Housing

4 floors up without a lift. the apartment was very basic as they are designed for student housing. single beds only as they are designed for students. bed was comfortable, couch was lumpy and had stains, towels were very worn with frays at the edges. Had a problem with a leak that was eventually fixed on the 2nd day. No ac and noisy street even though we were on the 4th floor so plan accordingly if you are going to leave the windows open. Apartment is great if you are not picky and don't mind the negatives that were mentioned. It is 5 minute walk to british museum, groceries and restaurants. 15 minutes to covent garden and soho. Price was cheaper then getting 2 hotel rooms for a family of five. But you do get what you pay for.

Great Student Housing

This is not a hotel. They rent out apartments with a kitchen and 2 bedrooms great for student or families on a budget. Cleaning is once a week. Kitchen is fully stocked with essential pots and pans as well as tableware.
