The room itself was very dirty (walks and floors), and the bathroom looked like the floor had never been washed. The rest of the hotel (reception and breakfast area) were very clean. Breakfast was very good. The area is walkable but I would not walk at night after the sun is gone. Overall would give this hotel 7/10

nice small hotel near downtown Lisbon.Close to downtown,train station,metro(10-20 min walking).it is on the hill and it is not for people with back problems.lots of stairs or uphill. Room doesn’t have only refrigerator for normal use.Breakfast was everyday the some but with good food

Great stay at Mouraria Lisboa Hotel! The location is super convenient, walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants, and viewpoints around Lisbon. The hotel itself has amazing views, and the free breakfast was a great bonus—fresh, tasty, and a good variety. It can be a bit tricky to find at first, but if you use the café next door as a reference point, it’s much easier to locate. At night, I did notice a couple of sketchy people roaming around the area, but nothing happened and the front desk staff were always kind and helpful, which made me feel more at ease. Overall, a solid stay with a lot of charm and convenience!

We had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Moura during what was meant to be our 20th anniversary celebration. When we arrived around 4 PM, we were informed that our room’s air conditioner was not working—something the hotel was already aware of before our arrival. Unfortunately, since it was a busy weekend and all nearby hotels were fully booked, we had no choice but to stay in a room that reached 92°F (33°C) overnight. To make matters worse, we witnessed the hotel manager yelling on the phone with one of the employees, frustrated and trying to explain that the air conditioner wasn’t working at all despite their efforts to fix it. The situation felt chaotic and unsettling. I reached out via email asking for a partial refund due to the missing amenity, but I received no reply—not even an apology. The way we were spoken to by some employees also felt dismissive and unprofessional. Sadly, the management’s lack of responsibility and empathy turned a special occasion into a very stressful night. I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel was quite a lovely find. The room itself was clean and a good size. Fairly easy to get around from this location. The buffet breakfast actually was pretty good and I could always find something to eat. The area around the hotel feels a little unsafe as someone who was traveling solo. I Did not have any issues but there were always groups of men hanging around the corner of the hotel and this could be intimidating to some people.

The hotel itself is newer and clean etc. My room was spacious and quiet etc. Staff could be a little more friendly and breakfast could have a wider variety of options. The immediate area is a little sketchy but nobody bothered me. Just be alert. There are several good restaurants nearby and the better areas of town are very near by too. Within walking distance. Kossies coffee shop is excellent and just down the hill 50 feet away. The area should improve over time and this hotel is part of that improvement.

Great modern hotel

Lovely small hotel updated. Very modern. Hope very close to walk for nice restaurants, shopping, etc. Immediate area around the hotel. A little confusing for walking but phone GPS worked great. Hotel on a narrow steep hill that boat driver would not come down so at least one blog walk required with luggage. Fantastic Full breakfast!
