Last night wedensday 27 septemper, i had a overnightstay, at the Red Carpet Inn and Suites in Lima, Ohio. I was a bit chocked when i came in and saw the poor state the room was in, i have been in many motels/hotels of differerent kind of states during my many roadtrips in the USA, But The Red Carpet in Lima, Ohio, was in such poor conditon, that it was hard for me to be contend, only because of the late hour, i chosed to stay. After a long day og traveling, this is not what you wanna come into, and Regarding the laundry, it is a washer, located next to the vendingmachine in the hallway, but i wouldent leave my clothes there. On top of it, u have fraighttrains near by howling there horns at night.

My husband and I were at this hotel for an extended stay, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. Will definitely return. Housekeeping was prompt and careful to work around the fact I had a cat and dog in my room. All in all, I felt very comfortable here.

Room was spacious but beds are waay past due for replacement. Literally sagging in the middle. Lots of "patches" maintenance wise--could have been a better job. For the money-- needs to be about 20 bucks less.

We had one night booked at this hotel. We needed to change travel plans at the last minute and the management was inflexible and unhelpful with this situation. We were not able to get our money refunded or even have our reservation transferred to another Red Carpet Inn or book for another date.

I stayed here for the cheap rate and it was close to the hospital where my family was during that week. Located next to abandoned hotel and across from a Waffle House. Parking lot filled with potholes. It was hard to shower with safety bar sticking out of wall and tiles were stained. They cleaned everyday, but our room had some weird Christmas/Disco light in it. It's close to train so you hear whistle all night. Clerk was behind glass when you check it which was a little scary.

Good location a lot of stores and places to eat and staff very friendly and helpful. when I went back down to front desk they told me they were giving me a discount on our room because my son was attending UNOH and they give discounts on the room which was a very nice surprise and rooms were always clean. really nice place and secure can't get inside the hotel unless you have your room key to slide at door when entering hotel and having a 42 inch TV was very nice .

I went to Red Carpet Inn to see the monster truck show with my family May 17-18. The hotel was great for its price. The front desk person was nice and the front desk was open 24/7 which was great. The staff was also very friendly. The rooms were clean and the internet was very fast. There also was great room service there. I would 100% come back to this hotel with my family.

Nasty!!! Dirty. really bad service. the floors were dirty, The furniture and plumbing were old and damaged. The service was nonexistent, bad housekeeping. The A/C worked sometimes but not when it was really hot out side.

I stayed here April of last year after booking a room through a travel company. Everything listed on their website is a lie and the experience was horrible. Upon first walking in, the front clerk laughed at us for having booked through a website and not them directly. She said its cheaper to just book at the hotel! Prior to even booking the room, I asked the booking agent what kind of breakfast (my daughter has severe allergies and I wanted to book at a place that we could eat before heading out). It had listed a free continental breakfast and the clerk said they served ham, bacon, sausages, eggs, Danishes, etc. They do not serve breakfast. Their "free breakfast" as the front attendant informed me in the morning, was its free to walk across the parking lot to the unrelated restaurant across the street. The room and the building was deplorable. The hotel phone didn’t work. Why? the cord was literally cut in half! They used tape to try and piece it together but the tape was just so old that it didn’t even have any stickness to the tape. Yes, so old and faded it was cracked! I am so glad I didn’t need to use that phone to call 911 for any emergencies because the phone was completely inoperable. Its just a place I would honestly tell no one to take their children to! Its disgusting and they have very bad service!

Disgusting! Rude desk clerk. Seems sketchy when you walk in and clerk is behind safety glass in what seems like a rural area! Feral cats around building. Feline urine/feces smell in A.M. nearly made me vomit. Could not run to vehicle and drive away fast enough! 'Bed'=box spring fit inside bed frame, but sitting directly on floor. Pathetic excuse for a mattress. Didn't bother complaining because we were told this was the only room available. Look close at their website: the accent walls with new paint, and the 'hip' multi color lamp...it's the same lamp, just taken to each room for the pictures. Those orange accent walls are the only thing updated! The whole building has a bad odor. Don't trust the cleanliness of ice machine. I'm certain it's a health hazard! They require routine sanitizing! Nasty pillows! There wasn't even a blanket! Just the bedspread & flat sheet. I slept in my clothes, didn't put bare feet on the floor, and certainly didn't chance a shower. Don't let the reused explanations of the management fool you....they know their place sucks! They don't expect repeat customers, just trying to sucker in first timers who are just too desperate to keep going. Trust me....GO! GO!
