Beautiful & charming! Gorgeous kitchen! Andrea was a great host! We did get to enjoy some time on the front porch watching the horses grazing next door. This location was under 30 minutes from Keenland, great restaurants, Windstar Farm and charming Midway!

Simply the Best!!!!

The entire experience was perfect! The owner connected me immediately and kept in contact during our stay. She offered spot on suggestions for activities and dining. The accommodations were wonderful. If you are a horse person, check out the prints on the upper level but my favorite was the horse in motion by the back door. Cocktail hour included horses and deer in the pasture next door as we enjoyed the front porch. Kitchen had everything we needed but we only prepared breakfast. Returning home after bourbon tours or our day at Keeneland was all we needed. The only reason we left was because our host was hosting friends. One of the best VRBO experiences!

The location eas very nice. We had a wedding at the Saxony Polo Barn to attend, the location of this house was very convenient for the wedding. Second Stay

The title says it all. This is our second time staying at Andrea's house and we are already looking to come back. That really is all you need to know. But the house is very comfortable, well appointed, has everything you need - including the occasional glimpse of horses in the pasture next door. Everything about the house is wonderful. Location is wonderful, easy access to many activities in the area. Come and stay, you won't regret it.

Cottage in Bluegrass Horse Country

My husband, teen son and I had a charming stay in this beautifully restored and renovated cottage in the country. We loved the location as it was quiet and in the middle of all that is Kentucky Horse Country. Big name Thoroughbred Horse Farms with gorgeous barns, rolling green hills, miles of fences and plenty of stunning horses in the pastures, including foals. Keeneland Race Track is a short drive away and the cute little town of Midway a few minutes drive for shops and great local restaurants/bars. So much early American history around the area within an hours drive radius as well. Of course, Bourbon abounds here, and we were close to many distilleries, visiting Buffalo Trace (which was free!) and Woodford Reserve. The cottage itself was smartly decorated for the location and very well done with top notch linens, towels and kitchen appliances. We did not eat in, choosing to support the local spots but I noticed plenty of pots/pans dishes etc. Since we came during the heat wave we did not use the firepit or get to sit on porch much, but the cottage A/C worked perfect and we wanted for nothing. We would love to come back again and stay at this property, longer this time as it was a highlight of our family vacation.

Everything about this Property is Wonderful!

We had three couples for a birthday celebration and to check out some bourbon distilleries. The house was more than spacious for our group, tastefully decorated, and extremely clean. The kithchen has everything you need to cook. Communication was great from the property owner. I look forward to coming back in the warmer months to take advantage of the absolutely homey and gorgeous porch and to utilize the outdoor grill.

Beautiful home

Absolutely loved our stay. Place is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If I was going to be super picky, I would say that the upstairs bedroom does not have a proper closet, but has plenty of dresser drawers for storage and is a nice big room. And for anyone staying with anyone other than family, keep in mind the room upstairs only has a half bath. This just makes it so you have to juggle shower times a bit. Can’t say enough good about this house. We truly loved our stay. We were close to Keeneland, and used this as our base for going to the races, and touring farms and distilleries in the area. The town of Midway is very close and a really cute stop with several restaurant options. Oh and the front porch is an amazing place to sit and sip a cocktail and watch the sunset. Host is super responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect!

I cannot say enough good things about this property! The pictures do not do it justice. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the grill was perfect for cooking out with friends, and the patio was beautiful and comfortable at night for dinner. Fantastic home away from home!

This is one of the very best kept secrets in Lexington! Such a beautiful and fully equipped home that provides everything that you need to enjoy your stay in this fabulous area. There isn’t anything that you need to bring, and will have more to enjoy than time. The beds and baths are awesome, kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked, the decor is amazing and a wonderful porch to enjoy anytime of day. My daughter was showing her horses at the Kentucky Horse Park which is a short drive. We loved coming home to this comfortable home and the great restaurants and sights close by. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! The house is so warm and cozy and the property is absolutely immaculate. Exactly as the description reads. The host left nothing out! It was like being home away from home. The cutest home!

One of the best rental experiences we have ever had! Andrea is phenomenal, so accommodating, responsive, and friendly. The house is incredibly charming, spacious, and exactly as pictured. Location is absolutely perfect for heading to Keeneland with a beautiful drive and zero traffic. We travel to Lex for Keeneland multiple times a year and can’t wait to stay here again!

Andrea’s home was absolutely perfect for our week in Kentucky for the Keeneland sales. Very accurate description of the property, (which also meant it was easy for an elderly lady to get around on a rollator.) Great location if you enjoy a little peace and quiet, but also with in 15 mins of everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone!
