Staff extremely friendly and hotel was very clean. Decent breakfast-clean and comfortable rooms.
The common areas and our room were clean, roomy, and nicely decorated. The room was well stocked with hand wipes, dish soap, dishes, silverware, etc. We also liked that there was a larger refrigerator and a dishwasher, and a table and chairs to sit at. Breakfast was great and all staff was friendly.
Check in is at 2:00. I arrived at 3:15 and was told I had to wait another hour before my room was ready. The staff told me I had to wait in my car and they would call me. I was furious
The rooms and common areas were all very clean and attractive. Due to Covid, the pool was understandably closed and the lovely breakfast area was only serving prepackaged food though the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits were great with the good coffee and fruit cocktail cup. I would not have wanted to use a buffet. Even with Covid, I felt safe at this location. Comfortable beds and linens and plenty of space and seating in the sanitized room and courtyard. Location was great for convenience food pick up and delivery.
The beds were ok, not super comfortable. The fitness center was a closet. Maybe the size has something to do with the low usage. Most importantly was the noise and the proximity to the highway. Good value but make sure you don't get a room right on the highway if you are sensitive to noise. The area is great with restuarants, bars, etc.

We made an overnight stop and weren't looking for a stove, refrigerator, or frying pans. The location is impossible to find unless you know your way around the town...we asked for directions at a filling station and the attendant didn't know what we were talking about...we called the Homewood Suites and found the hotel, but even from a block away it wasn't easy to find. They need signage. I tried to get some broadcast on the tv and spent at least 20 minutes just getting around the constant movie promos. The next morning I tried again...same results...I gave up trying after 10 minutes. Apparently you appeal more to movie buffs vs overnighters. Won't be back. I still don't know what I paid for the one night stay, but I bet I won't like it.
The people at the front desk were helpful with maps, directions & restuarant recommendations. The staff were always on top of every thing. The rooms were clean.
The hotel was clean but kind of dated. We went to the Kentucky football game and shopped. Great location for shopping.
