Hampton Inn I-75 Lexington/Hamburg Area

We were visiting our daughter for UK Family Day.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I asked about a good restaurant for dinner snd the suggestion turned out to be fantastic.

This hotel is not up to new Hampton Inn standards. The bathtub floor was disgustingly dingy. There was female hair stuck to the old-style, poor-fitting steel bathroom door. The faucet handle handle was super loose and the water pressure was oddly loud from its source. The elevators and other areas didn't have the new welcoming designs of Hampton. I stayed here and paid a premium expecting this. The room seemed smaller than other Hamptons as well. I should have paid about $50 less for the night I stayed. The staff excuded southern hospitality though, so kudos for that.

Great layout and spacious room. The location was close to shopping and restaurants. We would return!

The hotel lobby was inviting and the staff very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept like a rock. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Michelle

In town for a family funeral. Staff excellent, rooms pleasing, and for it being Keenland opening weekend we couldn't tell a difference except for the nightly rate which in my opinion was very high.

The area is conveniently located - wish the Hustler business wasn't located so close... but I was here to sleep. Nice room, comfy bed, and a good night of sleep - thatis what matters most!

Stayed at another Hampton the night before and this one was lacking in the little touches that would make it 4-5 stars.

Room was "non smoking" but smelled of heavy smoke in bathroom. Didn't notice till we had unpacked and come back from dinner. Also smoke alarm blinked and dinged all night. Desk clerk in the AM said, "yes, that room is right above the vent for the smoking level, and we have had problems with both floors above that corner." Would not make an adjustment on our bill because we had booked with an outside agent.. Have used agent a ton over the years, but may not in the future.

The breakfast was great. The fitness room was adequate for a good AM workout.

Overall the experience was very enjoyable and while I did not partake in the pool/fitness center, all the extra amenities within the hotel were kept up extremely well. Their extra cookie/apple served at 7pm was always something to look forward to. The one complaint I had was that cell service was pretty terrible within the hotel and in the rooms.

I stayed overnight and everything was in order. Everything was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and seemed to actually enjoy their work. I would stay there again.

It was Aweful I booked a non smOking room the put me in smokin I asked them to switch it and they refused saying they were all booked. The room smelled like weed. They lady at the counter was very rude. We were supposed to have a pull out couch in our room. Only had a chair. Never going back!

The hotel was nice, we'll stay at Hampton Inn in the future travels. We arrived late and went straight over to the nearby Bob Evans (also was a good experience - they were close to closing time, but the service was as if they had just opened.) Then we went straight to sleep - the continental breakfast was as good as can be expected, as far as continental breakfasts go.

Good location, great staff and quiet enviornment...comfortable bed too.

We attended the ALLTECH FEI WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES; the hotel was just a few miles from the Kentucky Horse Park (where the Games were held), and it was located near shopping, and several good restaurants like Malone's, Fish Bone, and Bella Notte.

Room was clean. Very close to business.

Went on a bus trip for a Legends baseball game, and was going to stay overnight. The game got rained out so we grabbed a bite to eat and then crashed in the room. The bed was soooo comfy!

great place easy access

This was the horse vacation all little girls want. We had a great time, and our hotel room was on the whole fine. The only thing is that it is pretty cramped--if you're going to have a king bed and a sofabed, the sofabed needs to be able to open! To open it you have to move the coffee table and the desk chair to the narrow space between the bed and sofa--which means there's no room to get out of the bed. Other than that, the hotel was great--nice breakfast (although it gets very crowded in the lobby/dining room about 8 am) and very friendly staff.
