The house had not been cleaned when we arrived. They did remedy that. The hot tub water was way out of balance. We cleaned scum from one of the filters. After getting the water tested at a local spa company, we chose not to use it. The front door handle broke leaving the front door completely unusable. The owner did not respond to any of our messages, and we were forced to leave the back door unlocked to enter the house. When it became apparent the host was not going to reply to our message, we took the inoperable garage door opener to Batteries Plus. After spending our own money, BP was able to get the opener to function for one door. With the exception of the lacking of cleaning before we arrived, the scummy hot tub, and the broken door, the house itself was fine. The owner only replied to our messages about the cleaning and the hot tub after we contacted VRBO customer service. Since we didn't bother to report the broken door handle to VRBO, he never replied to that. We enjoyed the closed in patio.
