This was my 10th Stay at the property. First time in a new renovated room. Room was nice. I will usually stay here on my first night in Langkawi Then I will move to a luxury resort such as the St Regis or Andaman. Avoid the Danna its really old. The layout of the resort is lovely My kids love the pool. Its great for Panti Channi Some lovely Mosques close by to pray in Some nice spas close by pay about £15 for an hour. Negs of this place: Reception is a bit hit and miss on check inn Got an upset tummy from eating room service here Not enough lifts Not enough towels
Recently we spent a memorable holiday at this properly from 21/01/18 to 24/01/18. Beutifully located. You can see the sea from your room as we have sea view room. Linen was just beautiful. The attached veranda was very nice. Food was great so the breakfast. People were very friendly and helpful. Front desk was nice. I strongly recommend this property to other people who want to be at Langkawi.
Nice view from the bar. Great to look at the docked boats, the sky, the water , the mountain range , the distant islands. Looking, admiring while sipping your drink makes a wonderful day. One can also go for the in house spa or book a local tour from the booking hub.
It was a good 4 days 3 nights stay. The daily breakfast was moderate selection of food. Perhaps shortage of waiter/waitress (table not cleaned or wiped), just took away soil plates and replace clean cutlery. The egg booth queue was long and the chef/waitress was very bad mood in making the eggs. Overall, good sea view and stay. Rooms was not friendly. Those who need wheelchair accessible room need to enquire before booking. Daily towel change was done (we like it).
We stayed two night and the view is lovely but there is a dock outside and no access to ocean or balconies facing the ocean. The hotel is a bit worn but decent. We ordered two premium rooms and one had a balcony and the other not. Both rooms faced the courtyard.
The pictures are more appealing than the place itself, its dated with dated services, and not a particulary good breakfast. The view however is spectscular, so i recommend you get a room with a balcony towards the sea. For the price we expected a lot more, and more proactive customer service.
Room is big and gorgeous, although the design is a bit outdated. Great and comfort stay whereby is spacious and we can have a lot of activity. it is located next to cenang beach and we can easily access to any attraction that we need with short distance travel. Will definitely stay again on next visit.
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. We've paid in full through Agoda. During checking-in reception staff asked for additional RM 39 for 3 nights stay. I understand RM 10/day for tourism tax but couldn't understand the demand for additional RM 3. The staff couldn't provide us any receipt. Hotel location is superb. We walked through an old, shabby, dirty corridor to reach our Premier room at block 3. During booking through Agoda more than a month back we asked for a room with 1 King Bed but they provided a room with two single beds though the staff claimed that these are Queen beds! Hotel staff provided two bath towels but no hand or face towel! After asking for additional towels they provided them but next day they took them away without replacement. They didn't even provide any toiletries in 2nd & 3rd days albeit we left empty shampoo and body wash containers in the bathroom. After asking for them they took about half an hour to provide us with some! Very slow and poor room service! Selection of breakfast items was good. Again, the staff do not bother to clean the tables after someone leaves their empty plates. Everyday we've experienced a loooong queue in the egg counter! Normally hotels with such star rating receive egg orders and serve them on the table. Waiting in a queue can give you a feeling that 'you are starving and the place is serving some free food!' Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel location but very dissatisfied at the service I received from the hotel staff. This hotel is either under-staffed or under bad management.
We stayed in the new part of the hotel (make sure to ask for a room in this part of the resort) and the room was totally ok. Clean and with enough space. The pool isn't that big but was clean and good for a morning swim. It's however not a space where you would want to hang out for a longer time. The hotel is a bit remote but shuttles are provided. It's however easiest if you have your own ride. I found the breakfast rather expensive so I never ate in the hotel but in one of the nearby breakfast places. Don't expect a 4-star resort for this reasonably priced resort and you'll be happy with the value for money.
We got a really dated room which smelled like mildew. Got a better room after we complaint but it was soooo far away from the lobby. Breakfast was poor as well with slow refills, uncleared tables and people are constantly waiting for clean cutlery. Only plus point was the kids’ pool had fun water sprinklers which excites young children. No beach access but a nice view of the port.
